3 MAIN PROJECT COORDINATION in the last 10 years : Coordinator of the research project Coud Pouce (Behavior and use of pesticides: Nudges) financed by the French Ministry of the Environment. The objective of this project is to associate social psychology, sociology, and economics to analyze to what extend behavioural and cognitive biases can be mobilized to reinforce the efficiency and sustainability of incentive policies for the reduction of pesticide use Present: Creation and supervision of the Cap-Eye Centre: it is a Resource and Training Cooperative platform on the Common Agricultural Policy ( The objectives are to build bridges between research, policy-making, and policy implementation in the area of European agricultural productivity and sustainability. It comes in 3 types of actions: - Improve access to up-to-date information and analysis on CAP issues - Improve knowledge on CAP of academics, students, and all stakeholders involved in innovation projects related to agriculture - Improve interactions between stakeholders involved in agricultural research and innovation projects Coordinator of a European Thematic Network on Sustainable Trade (Budget 489 k ). The objectives of this thematic network were to bring together several European research teams in social science to build-up collectively a research program on the compatibility of the European trade program at the WTO with the requirements of sustainable development objectives. Five European workshops were organized and an edited book was published with Ashgate Team leader of a two-year research programme financed by the French Ministry of Research on the biosafety procedures adopted by European countries. The objectives were to compare the sensitivity to biotechnology risks in several European countries (sanitary risk, environmental risk, economic risk) and to analyse the negotiation process at the European policy level to regulate the production and use of genetically modified organisms Co-director with Laurence Tubiana (leader of the French delegation for international negotiations on climate change and biodiversity) of a research programme financed by the French Ministry of Environment on the political economy of international environmental negotiations, applied to the analysis of the Convention on Biological Diversity Team leader for a two-year research project (Fonds France Berkeley) conducted with Berkeley University on the political acceptability of irrigation policy reforms in
4 France and California, using a multilateral bargaining model to analyze the negotiation process between interest groups.
