4 WIS/ASRA net On track with the correct compass The compass for the service staff WIS/ASRA net provides the service staff with the entire technical descriptions they need to effectively complete a maintenance or repair service. In the course of this, it provides data relating to the workshop order. Information that is always up-to-date and precise permits the service staff to act with the intended goal in mind and to handle their job correctly. WIS net and ASRA net are two independent applications that can be ordered by the customer both separately or as a combination. As compact systems, they combine contents of the Workshop Information System (WIS net) as well as information on operation texts, standard texts, flat rates and work units (ASRA net). Specific instructions Workshop Information System (WIS net) WIS net contains detailed work instructions on repair work. Furthermore, it provides the service staff with information on vehicle-specific retrofitting campaigns and on the effects these have on maintenance or repair. Clear and easy to understand instructions ensure that the service staff proceed correctly. An independent module that can be used to determine the damage code is available to the user for handling warranty claims. Hardworking assistant information on operation texts, standard texts, flat rates and work units (ASRA net) The data ascertained with ASRA net lay the foundation for the precise preparation of cost estimates. These data will be the basis for the correct preparation of invoices later on. It helps the service staff find the correct operation item for individual service stations. The system also tells them how much time individual work processes may take. ASRA net allocates the damage codes to the work processes and thus provides a complete information chain. If an existing workshop order is changed, ASRA net provides the service staff with all the necessary information. Always up-to-date supply of high-quality information The data transfer can take place in online server mode via Internet or Intranet. Local servers are no longer required with this solution. This is also true for the expensive maintenance and care of the system landscape in service station. Online updates are possible. In this case, the server administered and maintained by the particular Market Performance Center (MPC), General Distributor (GD) or service station delivers all current information without long shipping distances. As an alternative, the user can also use WIS/ASRA net as a local system. The regular updates are then received on a DVD or alternatively via download.
