BSI (British Standards Institution) PAS 1192 Relationship with other publications This PAS builds on the existing code of practice for the collaborative production of ARCHITECTURAL, ENGINEERING and construction information, defined within BS 1192:2007 It is a companion document of, and refers heavily to PAS :2013, Specification for information management for the CAPITAL/DELIVERY PHASE OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS using building information modelling. Initially a Publicly Available Specification (PAS 55) published by the British Standards Institution in 2004, the ISO series of Asset Management standards was launched in January BIM (Building Information Management) is the management of information through the whole LIFE CYCLE OF A BUILT ASSET. BIM LEVEL 3 is dedicated to the information requirements to support the OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE phase of the asset lifecycle.
