4 ABOUT SCANDIA MOSS Scandia Moss is 100% of nature moss and comes from Scandinavian forests or mountains with unpolluted and very clean air and water. It is collectable only for four months at the Arctic areas of Scandinavia and it is very rare because it is slow growing (3-5mm per year) and may take decades to return itself once picked or eaten. Scandia Moss is expertly preserved by natural minerals without addition of any toxic and hazardous chemicals to keep its colour and natural texture for many years. If soaked in the water, the preserved Scandia Moss is damaged and then it loses its resilience. The Scandia moss keeps its natural softness through the moist in the air. if the indoor humidity falls below 30%, the Scandia Moss will be harden but return to a soft and spongy texture when the minimum indoor humidity level is over 30%. 7 HOW TO INSTALL MOSS Panel Concrete Wall Plywood Piece or Screw Moss Panel The moss panel can be mounted on the wall surface by using 1 or 2 25mm screws usually.

Construction ability Eco-friendly Sound absorption Insulating The emission of formaldehyde (HCHO) is 0.001gm/ m2 h and this is very much lower than the highest rating 0.05gm/ m2 h in environmental friendly building material. The measured sound absorption coefficient is maximum NRC 0.96 depending on how install it. Scandia Moss absorbs noise. Moss Panel has a very low thermal co nductivity so it insulates well and also has an excellent energy saving effect. Moreover condensation caused by temperature difference may not occur. 10 INSTRUCTION 1. For storage purposes, moss should be kept in a cold-store or cellar Avoid direct water spray to the moss product. If the water is sprayed on the moss directly, the moss will lose its own softness. Maintain 50% humidity in the air to keep the moss in optimal condition. The lack of humidity can dry out the moss. The moss is hard and dry at the low humidity in the air. Thus please touch it gently. Otherwise the dried moss will be brittle easily. 5. Avoid direct sunlight exposure. 6. Do not try to pull the moss out from the panel 7. Do not try to eat.
