3 EVOLVE LIFE CYCLE MANAGEMENT Wherever possible, the entire EVOLVE panel system and the process to manufacture it were designed to save and protect the environment. PANELS EVOLVE processes wood scraps from our own factories wood waste, that would normally be sent to landfill, with recycled polypropylene to form tiny pellets that are then molded into internal panel components. At the end of their life, these molded components parts can be ground up and once again used in the process of making similar components. WOODSTALK, a machinable fiberboard, is made from harvested wheat straw fiber and a formaldehyde-free polyurethane resin. It provides exceptional strength and moisture resistance for interior applications, while addressing emissions and odor concerns associated with particleboard and MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) products that contain Urea Formaldehyde (UF). Panels are insulated with Roxul, a mineral wool insulation that is made from slag and basalt rock. This high density insulation provides maximum sound absorption to reduce noise and is fire resistant, water repellent and will not support the growth of fungi or mildew. Post-industrial and post-consumer polyester waste material is used as raw materials in recycled polyester fabrics. Using recycled fabric means less waste going to landfills. At the end of production, fabric scraps are bundled and sent to fabric recyclers. WORKSURFACES Each year, after harvesting the wheat, North American farmers are faced with the challenge of removing the straw residue from the harvest. Until recently, a common practice was burning off the straw in the field, which impacts the local air quality and emits greenhouse gasses. But now, many of these farmers can sell their straw residue crop to manufacturers like Dow BioProducts who make a product called WOODSTALK. It reduces air pollution associated with the burning of unused waste wheat straw. STORAGE EVOLVE s epoxy powder coating process involves no liquids and is solvent free. It contains no harmful VOC s or lead. Up to 99% of over sprayed powder is reclaimed, mixed with virgin powder and reused. All powder that doesn t get recirculated is recycled and used to paint non-exposed parts. Our vision of creating an office furniture system that would be based on sustainability had to be supported with manufacturing processes that would be ISO compliant. We obtained registration to ISO 14401: 2004 in Spring of Reducing waste and recycling materials in the manufacturing of our products helps to reduce the impact on our landfill sites. Diverting materials from landfill, reducing waste in our manufacturing and recycling materials within our office environment all contribute to saving and protecting the environment. Our goal is to continue to improve, innovate and ultimately contribute to the protection of our environment.

4 PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT EVOLVE s epoxy powder coating process involves no liquids and is solvent free. It does not contain any harmful VOC s or lead. Up to 99% of over sprayed powder is reclaimed, mixed with virgin powder and reused. All powder that doesn t get recirculated is recycled and used to paint non-exposed parts. EVOLVE offers fabrics that are made from 100% recycled polyester, which means less waste going to landfills, reduced demand for petroleum products, and fewer environmental impacts from the processing of petroleum products into polyester. EVOLVE has developed a panel interior made from 100% recycled wood and polypropylene. Through innovative design and technology, EVOLVE utilizes waste that would normally have been sent to landfill. Panels are insulated with Roxul, a mineral wool insulation made from slag (an inert steel byproduct) and basalt rock. Roxul s high density provides maximum sound absorption to reduce noise in the work environment. Roxul insulation is fire resistant, water repellent and will not support the growth of fungi or mildew. High pressure laminate work surface cores are made from WOODSTALK, an agri-fibre based product made with formaldehyde-free polyurethane resin and straw. This annually renewable resource is moisture resistant to resist warping.

5 GREENGUARD CERTIFIED EVOLVE exceeds standards for low emitting products for the indoor environment. Greenguard establishes certification procedures and performance based standards to define goods with low chemical and particle emissions for use indoors. EVOLVE Systems has been certified by the Environmental Choice Program. "EcoLogo certification demonstrates this organization's commitment to offering products or services which meet the Program's stringent environmental, quality and performance criteria." Greenguard Environmental Institute under the standards for low emitting products and materials. EVOLVE worksurfaces are 1 1 /8 inches in thickness and available in a wide variety of sizes and shapes, allowing you to customize your workstation. EVOLVE worksurfaces utilize a 3mm PVC edge that is attractive and resilient. WOODSTALK wheat straw worksurfaces, EVOLVE is reducing strain on forest resources and is helping to minimize the release of VOC s (Volatile Organic Compounds) into the environment. EVOLVE worksurfaces are available in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, permitting a vast array of customized work station configurations. In addition to alleviating pressure on natural resources, EVOLVE s wheat straw work surfaces provide exceptional strength and are moisture resistant to reduce warpage. EVOLVE HP worksurface cores are made from abundant, annually renewable wheat straw and polyurethane resin, in place of wood and the conventional formaldehyde binders found in many competitive products. By using FINALLY... the entire EVOLVE System is 100% recyclable. Nothing from EVOLVE needs to end up in a landfill.
