One of the first companies to open in Qatar, we began providing our services in 1979, and promise to continue for long as we are able to serve our customers and our community. Established in 2006, Pergola s Contracting Division has since completed 6 successful projects and has grown into a company of over 100 employees. As a grade B contracting company, our work so far has focused mainly on the public sector, working with government bodies such as the Ministry of Defence, as well as the Ministry of Interior. Scope of work: Design, construct, maintain and operate QF nursery for 7 years. Project consultant: Brief description: The Qatar Foundation Nursery is the first of its kind in Qatar, as a nursery focusing on local plants that will supply all the projects of Qatar Foundation until Built over an area of 90,000 sqm, the nursery is fully automated and houses one of the largest collections of native and near native plants in the Middle East. It is also the first plant nursery to receive all Qatar authority approvals including civil defense, ministry of environments and Kahramaa. The facility also contains office buildings, a high tech laboratory and a service building for workers and machinery.

19 Various projects for the Qatar Armed forces Client: Scope of work: Pergola Contracting has undertaken and successfully delivered several high profile projects for the Qatar Armed forces throughout various locations including the Magnetic Skyguard at Duhailiyat Camp (G+2), and the officers barracks at Abu Samra Base. These buildings serve different functions for the military including conference rooms, tank and heavy machinery hangars, and training centers for the various personnel of the armed forces. The value of projects ranges from 15 million to 25 million Qatari Riyals.

Consultant: Scope of work: Construction of two underground cold storage facilities for the use of food storage for the various restaurants within Katara. Brief description: Two underground food storage buildings that contain all the supplies of the various restaurants situated within Katara. Each room is fully insulated to maintain the low temperatures required for food storage. Both structures also have tennis courts built on the roof of the buildings. Client: Katara.

Consultant: Brief description: Landmarks within Katara s premises, these old traditional structures house hundreds of pigeons. They were constructed using traditional methods hundreds of years old. Brief description: Fast Track ASGHAL for the design and installation of nine (45m Diameter) Shade tents on top of existing children s play areas. Along with the installation of HDPE fencing around each play area, and the installation of solar lighting and solar powered projectors at each of the three sites (Umm Bab, Wakra, and Simaisma).
