1 Annual Census of Mines, Quarries and Sand Pits - Sand and Gravel This information is required under the Québec Mining Act. The Minister of l'énergie et des Ressources naturelles has delegated the responsibility of managing the mining statistics program to the Institut de la statistique du Québec. The Institut has entered into an agreement in order to send information on this program to: (a) the Minister of l'énergie et des Ressources naturelles; (b) Natural Resources Canada; (c) Statistics Canada.
