1 Bid Package 6A General Trades The successful Subcontractor acknowledges and agrees to the requirements set forth by this bid package and its descriptions and in conjunction with all other Construction Documents, as required to provide, furnish, install, and/or maintain all items necessary for a complete scope of work as listed below. The scope of work shall be inclusive of, but not limited to the following specifications, information, and requirements: I) Specifications a) Division 0 Bid Requirements b) Division 1 General Requirements c) Unit Masonry d) Misc. The individual Divisions and Sections listed above are provided as a courtesy only. II) Scope Specific Items: 1) Provide turnkey installation of the above listed specification items. 2) Grouting of items (with the exception of base plates). 3) All project masonry items. 4) Install metal wall-mounted railings furnished by Bid Package 5A/5D. 5) Expansion joint covers/assemblies for floors and interior/exterior walls. 6) Temporary Work Platform for Elevator subcontractor at topmost landing. 7) Rough carpentry including all blocking, backing and hardware for windows, doors, exterior walls, trim, millwork, casework, specialties, railings, ownerfurnished equipment, furnishings, etc. Use 3/4" fire-treated plywood and/or 2x wood blocking in all locations. 8) Caulking, sealants and fire stopping for items in this bid package. All fire resistive caulking and through wall/floor assemblies are to be products manufactured by Hilti. 9) Include allowance of $20,000 for temporary window enclosures. 10) Furnish hollow metal frames for doors, view windows, sidelights, transoms, borrowed lights, etc. 11) Hollow metal frames in drywall partitions are installed by Bid Package 9A ; hollow metal frames in masonry partitions are installed by this bid package. 12) Hollow metal doors.

3 13) Wood veneer and plastic laminate faced wood doors. 14) Factory machining for wood doors. 15) Inserts, view frames, cutouts, etc. 16) Overhead and/or sliding coiling doors, grilles and/or fire shutters. 17) Acrylic Paneling. 18) High Pressure Compact Laminate (HPL) Wall Panels. 19) Fabric Wall Systems and Wrapped Panels 20) Acoustical Wall Units 21) Spray Applied Acoustical Finishes 22) Finish hardware items and accessories. 23) Keying, master keying, etc. as specified (including keying of aluminum doors) 24) Light seals, thresholds, weatherproofing, sweeps and other door accessories. 25) Interior automatic door operators, including door controls, push plates, etc. 26) Chalkboards, tack boards & marker boards. 27) Toilet compartments and stalls. 28) Cubicle curtain tracks. 29) Wall protection, including corner guards, wall guards, handrails, rigid sheet wall protection, etc. 30) Metal and wood lockers and locker benches. 31) Fire extinguisher cabinets and accessories. 32) Operable partitions. 33) Toilet and bath accessories. 34) Projection screens. 35) Medical equipment designated Contractor Furnished Contractor Installed (CFCI) that is not provided by other Bid Packages. Install medical equipment designated Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) that is not installed in other Bid Packages. (Review 22A, 23A and 26A). 36) Window treatments including blinds and shades. 37) Entrance mats and recessed foot grilles. 38) Multiple seating/auditorium seating 39) Elevator operator as required for temporary use of a permanent elevator as directed by Skanska. For bidding purposes, include a period of 6 months 40-

4 hours a week. Provide temporary plywood protection of the entire interior cab and exterior jambs and sills of the elevator used. 40) Include an allowance of $10,000 for floor and wall protection along traffic routes designated by Skanska. 41) Maintain all safety rails, barricades and toe boards from the time the installing contractor leaves the site (and/or as directed by Skanska until such time as they are no longer required. This Subcontractor will then remove these items. 42) Finish carpentry, including wood base, shoe, chair rail, crown moldings, wall trim, door and window trim, standing and running trim, etc. 43) Wood paneling and wainscots. 44) Plastic-laminate covered panels. 45) Custom wood ceilings. 46) Interior window sills and stools that are wood, plastic laminate or solid-surfacing material. 47) Wood handrails and wall brackets on solid partitions. 48) Wood rails, caps and trim associated with metal railings. Brackets mounted on metal rails are provided by this Bid Package. 49) Casework and cabinets, including countertops, base cabinets, wall cabinets, full height cabinets, wardrobe units, special casework, etc. 50) Lab Casework 51) Custom millwork and architectural woodwork. 52) Reception desks, work stations. 53) Wood or plastic laminate faced shelving, bookcases and display cases. 54) Countertops and vanity tops. 55) Solid-surfacing material, including countertops, vanity tops, built-in sinks, transaction tops, aprons, shelves, wall panels, surrounds, trim pieces, etc. 56) Cutouts for sink, accessories, etc. in casework. 57) Cutouts and rough-ins for electrical, mechanical or finish items within casework/millwork. 58) Fillers, scribed pieces, or other as required for proper installation. 59) Glass for doors, sides, tops, shelving, etc. built into casework and millwork.

5 60) Special sheet material that is associated with casework/millwork, including hardboard, plexiglass, acrylic sheet, tack surface, marker board, pegboard, accent strips, etc. 61) Pre-finishing of furnished items as required. 62) Upholstered cushions that are attached to benches/seating that are provided by this Bid Package. 63) Final building cleaning including interior side of exterior glass. 64) Warranties per specifications; if not listed, two year minimum to be provided. 65) Warranties shall begin at project substantial completion.
