7 7 from 2013 all forest enterprises are introduced to the electronic system of timber tracking allows to define the origin of wood, follow the movement, inventory and sale of timber effective means of combating illegal logging and increasing the efficiency of forest production through the use of modern logistics and management solutions

12 12 State Forest Resources Agency of Ukraine supports the introduction of the concept of close to nature forest management promotes the more widespread use of selective felling and conversion cuts using the environmentallysound harvesting equipment and technologies protocol and Action Plan on sustainable forest management in the framework of Carpathian Convention close to nature forestry should be increasingly introduced in Ukraine as it is done in European countries

14 14 Forestry in Ukraine is financed from state and local budgets and means received from sale of wood, non-wood forest products and services State financial support for forestry is limited to 15-30% in total forestry expenses Finances are targeted to afforestation, protection of forests against fire, pests and diseases, partially the purchase of forestry equipment and construction of forest roads
