8 Role of National & Sub-National Government 8 REPUBLIK National Sub national The Minister of National Development Planning/Head of National Development Planning Agency shall coordinate: a. facilitation for the preparation Sub National Action Plan; b. monitoring, evaluation and reporting of SDGs achievement at national and sub-national levels; c. sources of funding from the government as well as other legitimate and non-binding sources the Governor shall prepare: Sub-National Action Plan together with Heads of Districts/Mayors in their respective areas by involving CSOs, Philanthropy, Business Actors, Academia and other relevant parties

9 9 REPUBLIK FORMULATION OF SDGS ACTION PLAN NATIONAL & SUB-NATIONAL ACTION PLANS Consultation Process Government & Non-government s Action Plans: Action plans consist of two parts: Consultation with government/state institutions Consultation with non-state actors: philanthropy & business, CSOs & academia Optimizing online & offline media () government s action plan and (2) non-state actors action plans Each action plan consists of programs and activities to achieve the national (or sub-national) indicators

12 REPUBLIK 3. THE STRATEGIES TO OVERCOME THE CHALLENGES Mainstreaming SDGs in National and Sub National Development Agendas; Coordination with Ministry of Home Affairs. The MOHA has enacted the Ministerial Regulation on Strategic Environment Assessment as a basis to mainstream SDGs into Sub National Development Agenda and develop SDGs Sub National Action Plan; Monitoring and Evaluation System for tracking the Achievement of SDGs; Involving all Stakeholders to contribute the Implementati on of SDGs.
