Successful bilateral stories are taken to a regional level to build the capacities and to support EU integration through regional projects. How? As a flexible advisory instrument, ORFs initiate and promote sustainable regional cooperation. Who? 8 Idea generation o In early 2015, the German and Swiss cooperation decide to assess the opportunity and feasibility of a project aiming at increasing the offer for CD measures in the Water supply and Sanitation sector in Southeast Europe through enhanced cooperation among the stakeholders. o Decision is made to involve all the stakeholders through out the all assessment process o The ORF MMS mobilizes resources to conduct the assessment in close cooperation with SECO Seite 8

9 Participatory process o Stakeholders involved: o the national associations of public utility companies (Cs) and national associations of Local Government units (LGUs) o from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia. Associations from neighbouring and noneligible countries (Croatia, Bulgaria) were also invited. o In total, 21 participating organisations Seite 9

Development of CD products 2. Delivery of CD products 3. Marketing and selling 4. Quality control & compliance 5. Monitoring & Evaluation 6. Promoting reforms 7. Dialogue with the Donors 8. Strategy and steering 9.
