Questions?
EASI policy framwork Enable Avoid Shift Improve Avoid unnecessary motorised journeys (with land use, planning, consumer behaviour and technology based measures) Shift from more to less polluting passenger - to mass, collective and shared transport & NMT Freight from road to rail, collective and shared transport.. Enable success depends on the mix of policy packages and measures and in respect to the local context but action is required in ALL the areas of ASI framework. Improve everything! Vehicles, technologies and transport but especially system efficiency.
Transport is committed are you!
www. 365campaign.com Using waste better: gas from steel production to ethanol (and commodity chemicals) Demonstration plant in Gent, Belgium & organic waste to bio gas 100% Electric ferries Hybrid inland waterway barges reducing the fuel consumption by approximately 20%
Biofuel mix not only for passenger (including flex fuel) and freight but now used with jet fuel e.g. United By 2020, India will be the 3rd largest aviation market in the world, expected to handle 336 million domestic and 85 million international passengers. Delhi International is one of first airports to have a MWscale solar power plant at airside premises (part of National Action Plan on Climate Change). Expected to deliver 9% of the current demand for electricity. www. 365campaign.com
Many ways that electricity is already used in transport, trolley buses, trams, bikes, scooters etc. www. 365campaign.com
Casebook more than 50 examples of e-mobility, MOVE About (corporate), Hytruck HDV zero emission freight, electric urban freight deliveries (UPS, DHL), cities e.g. Rotterdam 50% municipal fleet 2018, biofuel use & testing in marine. Too many to mention no limit to creativity! www. 365campaign.com
The complexity of transport, mobility and logistics Passenger and freight / Urban and rural Supply and value chains and end user deliveries Global Market Place and present market structure New demands political, environmental, social and economic 3 things thing about Waste is wasteful rearrange the mental furniture! The Packmen are here disruption does just that! Cocktails anyone? Yes please for everyone but no mocktails!
