9 What needs to be improved Short-term Being able to manage and allocate resources more easily To achieve an higher degree of integration in terms of infrastructures To increase the alignment to EU policies and priorities To increase the market/commercial impact of our results Next Steps: ( 2-3 years ) Identifying and reducing redundancies Increasing the liaison with industry, Commission and MS in orderto reinforce dialogue and real co-operation A legally binding framework is needed to set up a robust system, being able to monitor activities and setting up a transparent environment for the execution of the EERA JPs. 9
10 EERA towards a legal entity On November 5 th, 2012 the ExCo agreed to prioritise the set-up of an Association Internationals Sans But Lucratif (AISBL, non-profit organisation) for EERA Rules of procedure agreed amongst the 15 Mission and objectives shared by the 15 On-going discussion What kind of relation with EC, MS and Industry What tool (s) for EERA implementation in Horizon
