If your jurisdiction accepts septic tank waste for treatment, please provide the quantity of septic waste received over the last 12 months in gallons. For the year 2013 the Crooked Creek facility took in 242,000 gallons of septic waste. Page 2 of

The Gwinnett County Fats, Oil and Grease (FOG)/Lateral Program was established to prevent sanitary sewer overflows due to preventable FOG buildup and water intrusion into the collection system. Public education is a major component to achieving this goal. To that end we have created an educational website, brochures, and giveaways to promote awareness. Grade school children are our primary audience and we partner with several schools as well as the county Parks and Recreation Department to give presentations. We also present to adult groups such as realtor, business, and homeowner associations. 16. What new outreach materials would be helpful to you? Include topics and type of materials in your answer.
