7 Projects Validation Pyramid DEVELOPMENT ANALYSIS CONCEPT VALIDATION PREPARATION EVALUATE Analysis of power matrix portfolio and new ventures contracted by source in order to enable the envisioning of new opportunities. After identifying the opportunity, the team develops a concept for the project. Once the concept was put together, the project is submitted to the validation of our pyramid. Preparation and set up of the project for the regulated energy market s bids. Evaluates if the project will be included in our power generation assets portfolio, or if it will be sold to some strategic partner. 7
8 Projects Development EVTE Financial Economic Model Finally, our team conducts a thorough analysis of the economic and financial feasibility, in order to identify the project profitability and to verify if it complies with the criterion aimed by PONTE NOVA. Local Infrastructure Regulatory Aspects Evaluation After the validation of the technical operating criteria, our team evaluates if the project complies with the regulatory and environmental requirements of its region. Environmental Feasibility Engineering Technology Afterwards, we need to verify if the region has the needed infrastructure for the project and if the engineering to develop may be feasible. Connection Fuel Logistics Water Availability The first items to be validated are the distance of the water connection and the feasibility of the fuel logistics. 8
9 Main Executives Paulo Monteiro CEO Electrical Engineer, former director of MPX and EBX; responsible for the development of generation projects and the Group's portfolio in Gas, Mineral Coal, Wind, Solar. Pedro Pedras Commercial Director Economist, he was a partner and founder at Diferencial Energia, a specialist in the development and structuring of energy generation projects. Fernando Caula CFO Accountant, he was the Project Director at Diferencial Energia and EDP Energias do Brasil, working in the team responsible for the valuation of thermal power projects (mostly gas, coal and biomass) and hydro projects. Orlando Ribas Engineering Director Electrical engineer more than 35 years of experience in operation, maintenance of electrical power systems and development of generation projects. Paulo Soares Associate consultant Electrical Engineer, was Commercial Director of energy distribution companies, ENERSUL in MS, ESCELSA in ES and BANDEIRANTE ENERGIA in SP. At MPX, he was the new business manager managing the deployment of thermal, hydraulic and wind power plants. José Alcides Associate consultant Civil Engineer, he was Petrobras 'Director of Gas and Energy, from 2012 to 2015, responsible for Petrobras' gas and energy business. Gustavo Junqueira Associate consultant Graduation at Direito from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (1997). Has experience in Law, focusing on Tax Law. 9
