9 ACTIVITIES FOR LOW-CARBON CITY DEVELOPMENT IN YANGON CITY
10 Proposed project1:introduction of IoT system into waste collection Proposed: Iot System Proposed to install IoT system(censor with containers for checking amount of waste and GPS with tracks. The data shall be monitored at control center and analyze the most efficient route for waste collection. Estimated GHG emission reduction 1000tCO2 per year
11 Proposed project2: Introduction of high efficiency pumps into Hlawga pumping station Existing pumps in Hlawga pumping station were installed in 1980s and will be into time for renovation. In the study, it will consider introduction high efficiency pumps to replace the old pumps and contribute save running cost and GHG emission reductions. The project shall be considered utilizing JCM scheme for saving initial cost of the project as well as other potential scheme. Estimated GHG emission reduction 1400 tco2 per year Existing pumps at Hlawga Pumping station Image of high efficiency pumps
