20 Paid Sick Leave Planned Enhancements Accrue paid sick leave based on federal, state, and local law with the ability to: Calculate according to rate specified by a jurisdiction Trigger accrual calculation based on a job being a federal contract job Observe YTD and ITD limits for individual sick leave accruals If more than one accrual applies based on the employee s timecard, accrue at the rate that gives the employee the highest benefit (e.g., CA and San Francisco) Manage limits across accruals collectively Manage YTD and ITD limits year-to-year (after rollover) 20

27 Recording and Reporting Occupational Injuries Illnesses Part 1904-Long-standing regulations for recording and keepingrecords of injuries and illnesses Amended regulations: Available Now! Reporting Reportable Injuries: Reporting fatalities, hospitalizations, amputations, and losses of an eye. Fatalities, hospitalizations, amputations, and loss of an eye are defined as reportable injuries. Reportable injuries must be reported to OSHA immediately (8 or 24 hours depending on injury). Electronic Submission: Electronic submission of injury and illness records to OSHA. Establishments are required to electronically submit injury and illness records. Existing reports for recording injury and illness data must be submitted electronically. 27
