3 ABOUT UNEOS Universal Networking Empowerment Organization Student (UNEOS) is the Youth organization that aims to provide real movement on education for the realization of global-minded character, strengthening of relational, expressive abilities, and International opportunities. UNEOS aims to give young students the opportunity to discover a new side of themselves, an interest in International Affairs and organization in particular. We want to see that students are able to change things, strengthen their capacities and ability to express themselves. We want students to discover that all the difficulties, all the topic to discuss and that we are concerned today, can be resolved in environment of respect and mutual understanding. 4 THE BACKGROUND UNEOS JAPAN is an annual UNEOS program in collaboration with universities and industries in Japan. The program presents an international conference: Beyond the Strategy of Improving the Economic Growth by the Innovation Technology and Human Resource Management. Moreover, the program also provides some international excursion to give international exposure and broaden the knowledge of youth and an interesting culture excursion for those who cares about preserving the culture to face the global market challenges. Ideas and insights would be wasted away if they are not expressed. The youth needs some kind of platform to express their opinion, especially about the wide subject of global economic issues. Technology has now created the possibility and even the likelihood of a global culture. The Internet, fax machines, satellites, and cable TV are sweeping away cultural boundaries. Global entertainment companies shape the perceptions and dreams of ordinary citizens, wherever they live. This spread of values, norms, and culture tends to promote Western ideals of capitalism. Will local cultures inevitably fall victim to this global "consumer" culture? Will English eradicate all other languages? Will consumer values overwhelm peoples' sense of community and social solidarity? Or, on the contrary, will a common culture lead the way to greater shared values and political unity? We are the young generation, the hope of our nation; let us give our best for a better world. Science and technology could only be developed through people. Innovation technology is required for organizational and national development and effective human resource management can be used to promote it. Therefore, the harmony of innovation technology and human resource management is supposed to become the catalyst for improving the economic growth. UNEOS Japan gives the chance for young generation to learn and gain more knowledge from the expert and witness from the world's best. 5 Beyond the Strategy of Improving the Economic Growth by the Innovation Technology and Human Resource Management MISSION UNEOS Japan is for those who wants to gain knowledge regarding the global economic issues and experience the culture excursion from the ﬁrst hand at once. The objectives of the program: Global Economy Insight: delegates will have a global economy insight and gain knowledge regarding the innovation technology and human resource management for improving the economic growth. Cross Culture Erudition : the program facilitates delegates to experience the culture of Japan by visiting the country and get in touch with the locals. International Exposure : delegates will have a chance to expose themselves through the program and get international exposure. CURRICULUM All delegates will have the task as follows: Global Economy Insight: Delegates may prepare a presentation individually or in a group (maximum 3 person) regarding the global economic issues in accordance with the theme (optional). The best candidate will be given a presentation schedule at the conference. Cross Culture Erudition: delegates will learn Japanese culture directly form the native by observing several districts in Tokyo including the people, customs, activities, etc. and a chance to interact with the locals by having a communication in a conversation. Feel the atmosphere and immerse with the society will become a great challenge not to miss out. Delegates may also introduce or perform Indonesian culture in this program. International Exposure: All delegates will have a chance to speak up their minds and get the international exposure through the conference and excursion.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERT Expert in arts and culture will also intervene in the initiative as a speaker and Advisor.

6 ACADEMIC PARTNERS The academic content of the conference is formulated by Committee in collaboration with the Best University in Japan and focus discussion on technology, and culture. DAY 2 Airport assistance at Narita Interna onal Airport, Meet and Greet, and Pickup Airport Sunday, 5 November 2017 Check in Hotel Analysis of Japan Society at Akihabara Dinner Target: Delegates are expected to analyze and get to know more about Japanese culture and society, experience it and have a culture insight DAY 3 Check in Hotel Tokyo Ins tute of Technology Lunch Monday, 6 November 2017 Toyota Mega Web Panasonic Center Odaiba Discovery Dinner Check in Hotel Target: Delegates are given the chance to visit the prestigious University in Japan and observe the innovation and advanced technology at Toyota Mega web and Panasonic Center. Discover Odaiba, the people, the city, the society, and the activities in the city. Make a journal of your research group observation and submit it by the end of the program. Make a journal of your research group observation and submit it by the end of the program. DAY 6 Thursday, 9 November 2017 Submit the Journal Ueno Park Closing Program with farewell Transfer to Airport for departure back home. Target: Delegates (each research groups) should submit the journal of their observation and analysis to be published at the website of UNEOS to empower others.
