2 Recruiting Landscape 13% unemployment for youth globally in million young people globally (15-24) looking for work in 2014 Employment improves in developing countries while weak in emerging economies Decline in medium skill jobs One-third of new jobs will be in service sector Global employment has slowed to 1.2% growth from 1.7% before 2007 Over 61 million new jobs needed to close the jobs gap by 2019 International Labour Organization, January 2015 Copyright National Association of Colleges and Employers.
