4 I have built and or bought over 17 companies. I have been responsible for the development, implementation, and management of safety programs for 24 of my 34 years in business. The one thing all businesses in our industry have in common Is PEOPLE.

6 Today, millions of people leave work injury free every day and return home safely due to the commitment of the occupational safety, health and environmental practitioners who work day in and day out identifying and remediating hazards and putting safety programs in place, thereby enhancing work safety and preventing workplace fatalities and injuries.

7 Cause people to be safe? The ASSE was formed in But, as early as 1984 we were still cleaning tanks in tee shirts and jeans. 107 years later you are still reducing injury/fatalities and Increasing safety. Do we make rules that keep us safe or do we

40 Raise your lid- Invest in yourself- read, find a mentor who has been down the road you re going down in your career, find self-development opportunities and take full advantage of them. Maintain your inner circle- You will become the sum of the 7-10 people you hang around most. If you want to be better or different than those around you CHANGE THOSE AROUND YOU! If you want to be successful, hang around successful people. Keep a good inner circle. Leave a Legacy- Its not what I leave too you, its what I leave within you! Start with the end in mind. You leave a legacy by being loyal to yourself. Work hard and do what is right! Maintain integrity, and demonstrate character with your actions. Be loyal to your employer for some of you, that may be the same. What Legacy will you leave?
