Role and key responsibilities The right candidate will provide technical support and assistance to the Energy Infrastructure Team. There are three central pillars of this role: i) Technical support: you will provide technical due diligence support on new investment prospects, re-financings and exits and make recommendations for overall asset optimisation across the portfolio. ii) Operations: you will act as a key point of contact with project development Partners, the Asset Manager and O&M contractors to optimise the performance of the portfolio. iii) Reporting: you will be reporting on the operational performance of the portfolio and make recommendations for improvement. The role will focus initially on our solar portfolio, with the opportunity to extend into other technologies that we invest in.

2 This role is to provide in-house technical / asset management support but, for the avoidance of doubt, each of our investment companies contract with a third party asset manager and O&M contractor and we would expect the person fulfilling this role to be the key point of contact and provide oversight on these contracts and relationships. 1. Technical support Immediate focus to support the investment team on a 50 million+ refinance of its portfolio of solar assets. Ad-hoc support to the investment team during the due diligence process on the technical aspects of new investment opportunities (e.g. the acquisition of operational solar portfolios). Providing recommendations to the team on asset optimisation e.g. O&M consolidation, technology enhancements, potential contract modifications. Grow and maintain good relations with all contract parties and development partners, encouraging a collaborative approach to performance issues. Preparation of technical information for data-rooms to support the due diligence of assets being sold or refinanced. 2. Operations a. Performance Tracking and managing the key performance indicators (production, availability, performance ratio, grid downtime) of each asset. Understanding the main causes of downtime for each energy project and following up proactively with the development team and contractors as required to maximise performance. Regular site visits to assess quality and to address on-site issues as they arise. Review of payments outside of the normal operations of the business to be paid by the Project Company. Dealing with warranty issues/liquidated damages. b. Maintenance Supervision and management of the O&M Contractor to ensure compliance with their obligations with a view to maximise performance. Working with O&M contractors to create suitable annual operation and maintenance budget plans for the Projects. Monitor incident report and response times. Review O&M reporting for accuracy.

3 Review of Inspection Reports. c. Reporting Develop and implement summary KPIs that can be used as a visual aid for reporting on operational assets. Attend board meetings to report on technical performance or contractual issues. Support the infrastructure team on valuation and performance reports to external investors. Quarterly support to the investment team on reporting to the Fund s partner and investor group on technical issues arising in the portfolio. Key technical skills and knowledge required Prospective candidates should be able to provide evidence of being / having: Educated to degree level in an engineering or commercial discipline. An experienced professional in the electricity industry with at least 5 years of experience and a demonstrable track record of successfully managing the performance of operational energy or similar assets. A knowledge of solar and other renewable energy assets. Experience of managing sub-contractors and working with them to get the best operational and financial results from the assets. Experience of dealing with legal contracts (O&M / EPC) would also be an advantage. An understanding of the quality standards, best practice procedures, technical specifications and regulatory requirements. A self-starter with a passion for the energy industry, desire for success and a willingness to challenge the status quo to max imise assets ROI. Strong interpersonal skills, able to build rapport quickly and develop long-term relationships with all stakeholder groups. The ideal client will be able to communicate clearly and concisely. A systematic, highly organised approach to work. Good attention to detail is required to work methodically from issue identification through to resolution. Must be able to own an issue fully until satisfactory resolution. An ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with tight deadlines is also essential. Eager to share lessons learnt and contribute to the continuous improvement for other sites. An ability to both understand technical issues and then provide sensible commercial solutions. Willing and able to travel frequently.
