9 ILLOMIZER efficient storage for steel coils Material data is automatically transferred to the system by scanning the barcode label. By checking predefined criteria, the system automatically offers the best available storage place for the material. example: operation of the ILLOMIZER at the logistics center in Linz, Industriezeile 9

10 ILLOCRANE crane automation A crane sensor system determines the exact position of the crane and the storage place. RFID-tags are used to identify the goods in a three-dimensional coordinate system. In combination with the ILLOMIZER the optimal storage place is determined. For a seamless transition from the manual process to the automatic storage area, an interface to the warehouse management system is provided. 10 example: automatic crane at the ILN in the Netherlands

12 ILLOHUB truck logistics manager The truck logistics manager is a software tool to optimize transports. An online platform is used to provide the transfer orders. The carrier then books a time slot for loading. After the arrival at the hub, the driver enters the terminal by using his loading number. The loading documents are printed automatically. The truck is directed to the loading site by a monitor showing the loading number and the loading site. The loading of the material takes place just in time. 13 ILLOSHIP monitoring of vessel transports By using a web based monitoring tool, goods transported by inland waterway vessels can be tracked along the Danube. A complete transparency of information can be guaranteed. The customer knows the status of his goods at any time and is thus able to plan and steer his pre- and onward-carriage accordingly. 13

15 ILLOSTACKER stacker control system ILLOSTACKER is a transport management system for stackers used for in-plant transports. The system receives information about the status and position of the stacker and allocates the transport orders to the available stackers. Goods are transported efficiently and empty transports can be avoided. 15

16 ILLOTRANS steering of in-plant transport The connection to the production program of the customer enables a sequential delivery and an optimized transport. All means of transport and the corresponding loading sites inside the plant are equipped with barcodes or RFID-tags.
