11 FOKUSIMA LESSON based measures Common for NPP in operation and new To equip a power unit with mobile diesel-generator; To provide make-up of the primary circuit, SG and spend fuel pool using mobile pump units from NPP water storage tanks and from external sources of water supply; To ensure improvement of guidelines for BDBA management; To mitigate consequences of severe accidents a possibility shall be considered for external cooling of RPV and molten corium; To evaluate engineering solutions for limitation of pressure buildup inside the containment; Emergency instrumentation shall ensure control of a power unit state under accident conditions and in the post-accident period. 11
