5 Premium Service :& E & Space Guarantee (P1 Service) What is the difference between P1 Service and Peak Season Surcharge (PSS)? P1 service guarantees a year-round basis for stable and safe service for long term validity. Paying PSS in order to obtain space in a peak season is temporary and subject to market change and conditions. Can the P1 service be purchased on a temporary basis? Yes, it is available for any designated period you request. However, if a PSS is also applicable during that period, then we suggest PSS as your option for space requirements. Hot Local Block Stowage (P2 Service) re transshipment moves available for the P2 Service? Yes, transshipment moves are available as long as they are transshipped at one of the following ports: Shanghai, Hong Kong, Busan, Yantian or Kaohsiung. Is a shipment destined to IPI points also available for P2 service? P2 service is available for local import shipments only at this time, but we are currently considering expansion of coverage to inland destinations. Operation (P3 Service) Is there any volume limitation for P3 service? Yes, customer needs to share expected volume per each voyage before reaching agreement for P3 service. HMM will be providing you service within the agreed volume of containers based on the service contract. Is door delivery by customer s nominated trucker(s) available to use P3 service? Yes, P3 service is available under cooperation with customer s nominated trucker(s). P3 service is subject to trucker s smooth operation with carrier without delay or any shortage of drivers or any other supply. Free Flow (P4 Service) Is the volume less than 60 containers per voyage not available for P4 service? We will review on case by case basis, but the single shipment per voyage requirement should be very close to the minimum amount. Refund (Overall) If carrier fail to deliver the service, is there any reimbursement process? Yes, we will refund the Premium surcharge in the event of failure to provide service due to Carrier s fault.
