2 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. DICK DOYLE Vinyl Institute Update The Vinyl Institute (VI) represents manufacturers of vinyl resins/ compounds, vinyl additives, modifiers and packaging materials and advocates the industry value in responsible manufacture, life cycle management and value to society. President & CEO, Dick Doyle will present updates on new and ongoing VI initiatives and how AAMA members can be involved. Dick Doyle provides leadership and direction, along with the VI Executive Committee, staff, consultants and the overall vinyl value chain, in transforming the Vinyl Institute into the leading association representing the interests of North American vinyl resin producers and their customers. Key focus areas include: broadening markets for vinyl product solutions, effectively communicating the value of vinyl as the material for life, optimizing the vinyl industry's overall advocacy, providing a Knowledge Center for the vinyl industry, and pursuing operational excellence in support of the member's needs.

3 WORKSHOP Tuesday, June 12, :00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. MERYL WILLIAMS A Marketing Guide to Instagram Visually Showcasing Your Brand *will be repeated on Wednesday* This workshop will give an overview of Instagram and the app s features, as well as ways to highlight your business with the tool. Those who participate will also learn more about how to: Determine your company s focus for Instagram Differentiate your personal account from your business account Execute your plan with input from your team Make the most of videos and Instagram Stories Learn from other brands on Instagram Meryl Williams is in her fifth year as AAMA s Communications Coordinator. A large part of her job is maintaining and growing AAMA s social media presence, including the association s go-to-resource Twitter account, several channels on LinkedIn, a colorful Instagram account and more. She is always available to AAMA members who have questions about any social media platform. Meryl is also a freelance writer and has had bylines in publications like Paste Magazine, Apartment Therapy, The Billfold and many others. Prior to AAMA, she worked in Groupon s editorial department and as a newspaper reporter. She has a journalism degree from Muskingum University. Today, she works from her home in Columbus, OH and plays roller derby under the name Feral Streep in her spare time.

4 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. NICK LIMB AAMA Market Study Industry Trends and Forecast The most recent AAMA industry market study will be discussed by Nick Limb of Ducker Research (the company that conducts research on AAMA s behalf). The presentation will feature highlights of current trends and future changes in the fenestration market and will also cover how the study is prepared and how prior forecasts compared with actual market results. This members-only session will include responses to questions submitted prior to the event, as well as in-person. Send questions to Angela Dickson, AAMA Marketing and Communications Director, at adickson@aamanet.org. These will be provided to Ducker in advance to allow better preparation for response. The last 15 minutes will be allotted for new questions that arise based upon information presented at the conference. Discussion Topics Recent Market Study Results Discussion of Forecast Accuracy Additional/New Questions Nick Limb is a Board Member and Managing Principal at Ducker Worldwide. He has worked with dozens of manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, associations and publishers associated with flat glass and fenestration products to build an understanding of markets and to assist in strategic market decision making. He leads Ducker's fenestration industry research practice. Nick also co-leads Ducker's construction industry practice, and in particular, he focuses on the fenestration sector including residential and commercial glass/glazings, windows, doors and energy efficient products including solar and photovoltaic components and systems. His expertise encompasses market forecasting and demand modeling, channel strategy, acquisition analysis, brand positioning and competitive benchmarking as well as new product development and innovation feasibility. Prior to joining Ducker, Nick worked for Pilkington Plc for fifteen years in various sales and marketing management positions, including Global Market Management responsibility for the residential window market. He speaks at industry forums and contributes articles to journals and industry publications. Nick holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and Master of Arts degree in Economics from Cambridge University, England.

What are some of the real, measurable benefits of improving the quality of indoor air? What third party certifications are available to help ensure better indoor air? What whole building, green certifications systems address air quality? What does it take for manufacturers to certify their products? As a Sustainability Analyst at Andersen Corporation, Annie works on corporate sustainability reporting, product transparency labels and certifications, climate change education, and employee engagement, as well as maintaining numerous external partnerships and collaborations. As an accredited LEED Green Associate with the U.S. Green Building Council, she also sits on the Midwest s Market Leadership Advisory Board and is engaged with the emerging WELL Standard. Annie participates in the American Architectural Manufacturers Association s (AAMA) Sustainability Steering Committee and was contributory in the development of the window industry s product category rule (PCR), followed by the release of the industry s first environmental product declaration (EPD). She sits on her community s Planning Commission and serves on the Middle St. Croix Watershed District Management Organization s management board to help advance resilient communities and sustainable environments.
