Accounting for Non-Accountants A practical understanding of accounting principles Gain valuable insight to basic accounting principles, systems and theories and how they relate to the workplace. The Accounting for Non-Accountants workshop provides a practical application of accounting processes, systems and theory for those who seek a broader understanding of the role of the finance team. The workshop takes a hands-on approach using real case studies and exercises. Participants will work through the accounting transactional flow in detail and gain an understanding of how it applies to their job function. Participants will also draw on the skills and knowledge of workshop facilitator, Chartered Accountant Steven Forgione, as they make the connection between accounting process, systems and theories and their application in the wider finance team. Workshop materials Participants will be provided with a comprehensive workbook detailing accounting theories and concepts. This resource includes practical exercises, solutions and an accounting terminology glossary, that enables participants to take their learning from the workshop to the workplace. Who should attend?
