17 Fieldswithdense dense weed populations should probably be avoided when possible. Preemergence herbicides are a necessity, timing of conventional postemergence herbicides is critical (i.e., they won t kill big weeds). Mk Make sure of your reasons for growing conventional soybeans, not because the popular press says it MAY be a cheaper endeavor. Pencil your own seed costs/herbicide programs out and see for yourself. Don t skimp on the weed management program in conventional soybeans. There are few, if any, rescue options.
