2 Real Farm Rewards A grower rewards program that leverages Monsanto s lineup of products and partnering Nufarm products. Real Farm Rewards allows Monsanto to communicate the value of these products and promote sustainable farm practices like tank mixing and using diverse crop rotations. TO QUALIFY FOR REAL FARM REWARDS, GROWERS MUST: 1. Purchase a minimum of 32 bags of a qualifying brand* of Genuity Roundup Ready canola between September 1, 2017 and August 31, Register new program participants for the rewards program no later than August 31, If growers registered last year, there s no need to sign them up again. Their registration renews automatically every year. There are three ways to sign up new participants: a. Visit RealFarmRewards.ca to fill out the online registration form. b. Fill out a paper registration form provided by Monsanto and it to monsanto.canada@monsanto.com or fax it to c. Call the Monsanto Rewards Line at Purchase any combination of qualifying products between September 1, 2017 and August 31, The more qualifying products a grower buys, the more reward dollars they can earn. Rewards are cumulative, and growers can expect to receive their payment starting in December Note: Monsanto will not issue a cheque for amounts less than $100. QUALIFYING PRODUCTS To earn a reward for individual or cumulative products, growers need to first purchase a minimum of 32 bags of a qualifying brand of Genuity Roundup Ready canola. Once they have made the qualifying purchase and have registered as indicated above, it opens the door to the following rewards. See pages 5-7 for conversion rates. She has met the minimum program requirement and now qualifies for rewards. Here s how Jamie accumulates rewards on her crop input purchases: With her purchase of 64 bags of Genuity Roundup Ready canola, Jamie qualifies for the Canola Volume reward and earns a $2.00/acre reward. She purchases TagTeam liquid inoculant, qualifying for the Monsanto BioAg reward and earning a $0.40/acre reward. She also purchases three units of Roundup WeatherMAX herbicide and qualifies for the Crop Protection reward, earning a $0.50/acre reward. Jamie wants to tank mix her glyphosate and purchases four cases of Conquer herbicide and one case of GoldWing herbicide. She qualifies for the Tank-mix Partner reward and earns a $1.00/acre reward for each of these two products. 03

He has met the 32 bag minimum purchase requirement and now qualifies for rewards. Here s how Gord accumulates rewards on his crop input purchases: With his purchase of 128 bags of Genuity Roundup Ready canola, Gord qualifies for the Canola Volume reward and earns a $2.75/acre reward. Gord also purchases Roundup Ready 2 Xtend soybeans, qualifying for another Seed reward and earning a $2.00/acre reward on those bags. He also inoculates his soybeans with Optimize ST liquid, qualifying for the Monsanto BioAg reward and earning a $0.40/acre reward. Gord purchases four units of Roundup Transorb HC herbicide for his glyphosate applications, qualifying for a Crop Protection reward and earning a $0.10/acre reward as well as purchasing Roundup Xtend to earn a reward of $0.75/acre. If Gord had purchased Roundup WeatherMAX instead, he would have qualified for a larger reward. For his pre-seed tank mix, Gord purchases BlackHawk and Valtera herbicides. He qualifies for the Tank-mix Partner reward and earns a $1.00/acre reward on BlackHawk and a $2.00/acre reward on Valtera. 5 PROGRAM QUALIFICATION 1. For growers to earn rewards, they must do the following: Purchase a minimum quantity of 32 bags of a qualifying brand of Genuity Roundup Ready canola plus another qualifying product between September 1, 2017 and August 31, Complete/submit the grower registration form no later than August 31, Registration forms can be found at RealFarmRewards.ca, at your local retail location, through your local Nufarm rep or seed rep, or by calling the Monsanto Rewards Line at If you registered last year, there s no need to sign-up again. Your registration renews automatically every year. Grower must earn a minimum of $100 in rewards for Monsanto to issue a rewards cheque. 2. The Real Farm Rewards acres will be calculated based on the following assumptions: ACRES FOR SEED PRODUCTS 1 bag canola = 10 acres 1 bag corn = 2.7 acres 1 bag soybeans = acres ACRES FOR MONSANTO CHEMISTRY PRODUCTS Acres for Roundup Transorb HC, Roundup WeatherMAX and XtendiMax with VaporGrip Technology will be calculated using the rate of 0.67 L per acre: 15 acres per 10 L package 675 acres per 450 L package 1,200 acres per 800 L package 172 acres per 115 L package Acres for Roundup Xtend with VaporGrip Technology will be calculated using a 2 L per acre rate (full rate): 5 acres per 10 L package 05

Roundup Ready 2 Xtend soybeans contain genes that confer tolerance to glyphosate and dicamba. Agricultural herbicides containing glyphosate will kill crops that are not tolerant to glyphosate, and those containing dicamba will kill crops that are not tolerant to dicamba. Contact your Monsanto dealer or call the Monsanto technical support line at for recommended Roundup Ready Xtend Crop System weed control programs. Roundup Ready technology contains genes that confer tolerance to glyphosate, an active ingredient in Roundup brand agricultural herbicides. Agricultural herbicides containing glyphosate will kill crops that are not tolerant to glyphosate. Tank mixtures: The applicable labeling for each product must be in the possession of the user at the time of application. Follow applicable use instructions, including application rates, precautions and restrictions of each product used in the tank mixture. Monsanto has not tested all tank mix product formulations for compatibility or performance other than specifically listed by brand name. Always predetermine the compatibility of tank mixtures by mixing small proportional quantities in advance.
