23 Up scaling Yes Conclusion School students were poor in nutritional knowledge. FLD has been an eye opener. Nutritional status of students and their families improved significantly. Interest towards farming and agriculture has been inculcated. Students were happy to use the agriculture produce harvested by them to be used in Noon meal scheme. Nutritional awareness among schools is the need of the hour since whole family will be treated for nutritional deficiencies thereby improving the health of farming community.

24 Demonstration of Chekurmanis in combating Anemia among young farm women Problems Women are highly anemic at Thiruvarur district leading to poor work efficiency Technology Demonstrated Chekurmanis greens Rice powder 30 gm /day TNAU No of Demos 10 Total Cost: Rs.3,000/-
