Project Vision The goal of this project is to develop a farm that facilitates the work of Food For His Children (FFHC) in providing goats to Tanzanian families and bolstering the local economy.

2 Project Vision The goal of this project is to develop a farm that facilitates the work of Food For His Children (FFHC) in providing goats to Tanzanian families and bolstering the local economy. Once established, the farm will greatly reduce the cost of FFHC s primary operations by allowing the organization to breed its own goats locally. As the farm expands, it will provide the local population with a wide variety of services that will improve their economic opportunities. A creamery will provide the necessary equipment to sanitarily milk goats, pasteurize the milk, and process milk into products such as cheese, lotion, and soap when desired. This facility will be available for use by the local villagers as well as tourists interested in producing their own all-natural goat milk products or simply viewing the process. A farm store will provide an outlet for FFHS and any interested members of the community to sell products produced on the farm. A training center will allow FFHS to offer hands on education to program recipients and community members. Classes in agricultural skills such as tending crops, water harvesting and purification, animal husbandry, and making goat products will be the focus of the center. Additional classes promoting skills in business and budgeting will round out the offerings of the center. The final development on the site will be a coffeehouse, which along with the farm store will provide a local source of funds to sustain the farm s operations. Housing an internet cafe, cultural exhibits, and seating offering impressive vistas of the mountains beyond, the coffeehouse is sure to be a destination for locals and tourists alike.

Ngorongoro Crater, a popular tourist destination, is north of the site, and the scenic Mt. Oldeani lies to the west.
