11 CBP What can L-arabinose do for you? + = The addition of L-arabinose to a sugar containing diet/product has the following direct benefits: Reduction of the glucose peak level & insulin response related to sucrose consumption by a maximum of 60% Sucrose becomes a low GI ingredient by adding an Arabinose dosage as low as 3 wt% A sustained release of energy to the body over a longer period of time
