5 GGC Full Build Out Plan 3 Partnership North Clemson Center for Human Genetics 1 GGC Heritage acres 2 2 Clemson Center acres 1 3 Partnership North acres GGC Heritage Campus 4 Partnership South acres 4 Partnership South Point A Consulting Greenwood Research Park Strategic Plan Land Plan Workshop Key Premises ACTIVATING GGC S PARTNERSHIP CAMPUS DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES During this initial phase, GGC is expected to be largely passive Critical to focus on implementing Sustainability Study recommendations GGC will partner with GPA, who will take the active leadership role Importance of establishing the framework for such a partnership, sharing of roles and responsibilities. Key Sustainability Themes Identified from Interviews and Initial Analysis Three broad themes for GGC s sustainability were identified: Modernization of operations reflecting the need for greater efficiency of existing resources, while also creating the capacity to grow. Diversification of revenue sources tapping a broader range of funding sources to support the ongoing operations of GGC. Pursuit of growth initiatives fulfilling the mission of GGC with an enhancement of its activities so that it can have even greater impact in the years ahead. 15 SC Community Development Association 5
