2 «Committed to bring you ever Excelling to create great innovations Since it has been launched, DIAGAST E.M. Technology shakes up the immunohaematology market by offering a competitive solution from both technical and economical points of view. QWALYS 3, our latest fully automated system, will meet the needs every biologist has to face: get fast and reliable analysis, handle budget pressure and put forward a service support for accreditation. Dynamism to reach great achievements In France, DIAGAST is a leader in the national market of immunohaematology and 90 % of bedside card tests have been performed with our ready-to-use cards. In the United States, 12 million of blood donors have been tested with our reagents by the American Red Cross thanks to a partnership with Beckman Coulter. Moreover we broke a record by selling 108 million of our tests all over the world. As well as ISO certifications, our production site has received the GMP/FDA approval and since then we can expand rapidly throughout the world. Commitment for a great expertise Relying on 30 years of expertise and a unique know-how, DIAGAST is a key company in blood transfusion sector (development, production and marketing of blood testing reagents and automated systems). Our company owns many clones in immunohaematology and is the second worldwide producer. DIAGAST keeps closely in touch with its customers through a local distribution network that enables the company to be present in more than 50 countries. Many specialised laboratories and blood transfusion centers throughout the world trust DIAGAST brand. and to excel ourselves for you every day!» 1

5 E.M. Technology High performance Blood grouping automated system With its very high throughput and its loading capacity surpassing the other machines available in the market, QWALYS 3 is the reference machine for all blood banks, blood transfusion centres and hospitals having a blood grouping testing activity from to tests per year. QWALYS 3 is based on E.M. Technology (Erythrocytes Magnetized Technology) an innovative nanotechnology developed by DIAGAST, using the principle of magnetization of the red blood cells. High throughput and autonomy maximum loading capacity from 160 to 256 samples Very high throughput : Up to 105 Grouping or 110 Antibody Screening or 250 Antibody Screening donors per hour. Ease of use With only one intuitive user screen, QWALYS 3 is friendly and versatile. Only 10 minutes of training is enough to launch a serie of tests in complete autonomy. On screen real-time display of your workflow (reagent consumption, sample status). Cost efficiency Compared to the other automated techniques available E.M. Technology guarantees best cost efficiency with equivalent or better biological results. Personalized customer services Specialized engineers all around the world and a dedicated hotline for better expertise Service pack with remote access tools for a faster service Skilled sales and marketing team to support you for the management of your immunohematology lab. 7 E.M. Technology FREELYS Mini lab, & an ingeniously compact all-in-one workstation DIAGAST FREELYS Mini Lab provides its full efficiency to your manual immuhaematology techniques by offering both miniaturization and ergonomics. Thanks to a work station (FREELYS Nano) and a reader (FREELYS Reader & Software) you will enjoy standardization, safety, traceability and cost saving. FREELYS Nano Forget your bulky equipments (centrifuge, incubator) and discover FREELYS Nano that ingeniously integrates the whole associated material: a shaker, an incubator and magnetic plates. FREELYS Nano is the miniaturized workstation that will bring you a standardization of the protocols never seen before. FREELYS Reader FREELYS Reader and Software is designed for the reading, interpretation, validation and database storage of your immunohaematology lab bench. Its high definition video camera ensures a secured interpretation of your results. With the FREELYS Software you can now consult, modify, validate and record electronically your results with complete traceability of patients and reagents. Its search engine allows a fast and easy consultation of your whole archive with results, patient database and picture of the reactions.
