16 Insert a statement from the PoS screen Users with the relevant permission will be able to add a new statement directly from within the PoS screen under the Manage drop down. Note: This option is only available in the National Curriculum View when a Strand is selected.

The edit statement option is only available when selecting a user created statement column. 18 Making an Element of PoS Inactive Ability to make subjects / strands or statements inactive if you do not want to assess or report against them for a given period of time.

19 Define PoS display order Schools can also define the display order for user created statements using the arrows provided or by drag and drop.

24 PoS Statement - report settings to note Cumulative results checkbox ticked by default Pulls through results from earlier gradesets for that year When unticked displays only PoS Term selected Results entered into next or previous years curriculum against current result set will also be displayed If school has customised statement, this will be used

27 PoS comment - report settings to note For a specific Subject / Strand the PoS Comment displays: Overall Grade Overall Strengths or Next Steps comment Note: these tags do NOT work with cumulative results. Only entry recorded against chosen result set will be displayed A warning message appears when verifying template if a Subject/Strand is set to inactive

41 KS4 Discover Graphs There are several types of Discover graphs linked to these KS4 resources for more visual analysis 5 A* to C Venn with En and Ma Key Groups Graph Attainment 8 and Progress 8 Ebacc 5 circle venn Allows quick analysis against other pastoral measures such as attendance or behaviour, and to compare performance of key groups or classes

46 Updates for KS4 Spring 2016 Mapping tool link to Exams aspects KS4 termly tracking Discover Graphs linked to KS4 KPIs Summer 2016 Additional result sets added into mapping tool for more flexible analysis using linked Report Definitions

47 Assessment Mapping tool Exams aspects New functionality to allow secondary schools to convert their exams results into assessment aspects for easy comparison using the new KS4 analysis reports. New Exam mode in Mapping tool User will see prompt to indicate preferred mapping type when creating new definition. Tools Assessment Assessment Mapping Tool

48 Assessment Mapping tool Exams aspects Modifications to add aspect selector to support Exams CES examination services is the only supplier By default categories selected are Process Result & Result Status Certificate. Note: The category panel will only be visible if the View Exam option is ticked under Tools Performance Options

49 Assessment Mapping tool Exams aspects To complete an exams aspect mapping exam seasons will need to be mapped to new assessment result sets. Seasons start from 2013/14 when Progress 8 and attainment 8 Measures came in. Destination result sets cover 3 seasons a year; November, January and June.

50 Mapping tool Useful notes for exams It is not possible to export or import an exam mapping definition. It is not possible to run a conversion while an exams embargo is in place
