5 Necessity of mobile process support Documentation Maintenance works must be documented in detail in order to: measure the expenses (time and material) document compliance with statutory requirements (e.g. HSEQ) safely identify weaknesses (damage patterns and damage causes) optimize the maintenance strategy (balance between reactive and preventive) page 5

8 Necessity of mobile process support Traditional procedure Creation of a notification in SAP Creation of an order from the notification Print out of the order and handover to the craftsmen (Conduct of LMRA) Execution of the work and documentation on the printed order (Documentation of near accidents / dangerous situations) (Correction of the notification in relation to damage pattern and cause) Closing of the notification and the order (Filing in the LMRA) (Forwarding of near accident report to those responsible for HSEQ) Feedback with regard to the work done and the time required (booking of the materials if necessary) page 8
