3 1 About the version 1.1 Versions LS Retail.NET is a.net based retail solution suite that includes a light weight back office system, a POS that handles all necessary POS operations in a retail environment, data replication components as well as other additional components that may be used in conjunction with the back office and/or POS solution. All the suite components are very open for any specific modifications. The LS Retail.NET SP1 is a service pack which includes all the components that make up the LS Retail.NET suite. Not all the components were changed. 4 2 New Documentation This service pack of LS Retail.NET contains some changes and improvements on previous functionality. No new documentation is released in this service pack. 5 3 Features in This Release 3.1 LS POS changes Tax exemption This new operation will allow the POS user to remove all tax from the transaction. This will prompt the user with a keyboard where he will enter an ID for the exemption. When this happens the POS will not charge any tax amount and the customer will only pay the base price for each item. This functionality works for both tax excluded and tax included in price. After a transaction has been tax exempted, all items added to the transaction after that will also be tax exempted with the same tax exemption code. The user can also clear the tax exemption from the entire transaction with a separate operation Tax code change This new operation will allow the POS user to change the transaction s tax code manually using an operation. 6 3.2 LS Retail Store Controller General improvements Title Item drop down combobox in purchase order is now searchable. Item drop down combobox in goods receiving view and dialog are now searchable. Full name component added to customer. Tax group added to infocode triggers. Fixed issue in periodic discounts where it was incorrectly referencing DevExpress component that it should not have been. Fixed an error when opening Trade agreements from Price/discount groups when no group is selected Fixed an error when on the POS user card, you select the context bar hot jump to receipts Fixed an error when editing barcodes on the barcode tab on the item card Fixed an error when deleting multiple items at once In validation period dialog, when going from check box Period -> Always, the period controls are now disabled Right clicking on the Tender declaration list view in the Store tab now works and does not give you a blank list 3.3 LS Store Server Buffer size increased for LS Hospitality.NET functionality 3.4 LS Station Printing No changes in this service pack Known issue: The service does not work properly on a 64-bit machine. 3.5 LS Retail ERP Connector No changes in this service pack 3.6 LS Forecourt Manager No changes in this service pack LS Retail.NET SP1 Release Notes 4
