1 Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management Release Notes Release V1.7.5 SR # Module Description Maintenance EAM-275 Account Log Procedure COST_LABOR fixed. When a "PB" transaction is created in the Account Log, the TRANSACTION_HOURS column is populated with the PREMIUM_HOURS from SA_TIMESHEET. LRIV-550 Account Log Added a new column, SENT_TO_INTERFACE2_IND, to SA_ACCOUNT_LOG. LRIV Account Log Added a new column, SENT_TO_INTERFACE3_IND, to SA_ACCOUNT_LOG. LRIV-774 EAM Action: Create Work Order Business Rule, Work Order, Project/Subproject Added a new INCLUDE P WORK TYPE option to the WORK REQUEST PROCESSING Business Rule. If the option is set to ON the results of search for possible duplicate or existing Work Orders includes P type Work Orders in the Work Order Wizard. The default value is OFF. Added a new Labor Markup on Cost Summary option to the Work Order Processing Business Rule. Rule ID = WORK ORDER PROCESSING Key Name = LABOR MARKUP ON COST SUMMARY Key Value = ON / OFF - Default = OFF If the key value is set to ON, all costs associated to M1, M2 and M3 Labor Markup Transaction Codes are included on the Cost Summary views for the Work Order and Project / Subproject modules. If the value is set to OFF, the Labor Markup Transactions are not included on the Cost Summary views. EAM Crew Fixed population of sa_crew_daily_hours when start date is later in the week from the end date. SPLW Crew Crew Employee Assignments view: "Emp No" list of values now includes Active employees that do not have User Profile records. EAM Daily Schedule Copy Selected Tasks action now copies all of the selected tasks. TRAX Direct Charges Log The Direct Charge Log now filters to only show Log Entries for the Plant the TRAX Failure History user is logged on to. Search for Downtime Duration now uses the >= variable to return records from Asset Failure History module. LRIV Fleet Asset Removed system requirement for expiration_date on Fleet Asset - Accounting View. LRIV-703 Fleet Asset Fleet Asset - Yearly Cost Summary View - Increased the Cost/Mile field length to 20 characters. LRIV Fleet Asset Fleet Asset no longer can be modified when responsibility for Fleet Asset set to Display and Select only. RWIN-18.1 Fleet Asset Work Order Costs on the Work History view of Fleet Assets are now displayed for both Active Work Orders and Work Orders in History. Motorpool EAM Fleet Work Order Corrected module processing so invoking the LOV for ASSET_ID does not cause an error on the Fleet Work Order Selection Screen. LRIV Fleet Work Order Separated the Search Options view into two blocks. One is used when searching on the header level. The other is used when searching on the task level. LRIV Fleet Work Order The Regular and Premium Expense Codes from the Craft Rates Business Rule are inserted into sa_timesheet when the Start/Stop action is used to create Timesheet line items from the Fleet Work Order module. LRIV Fleet Work Order Fleet Work Order Closeout Summary view: When the Fleet Work Order status is changed to Finished, the Vehicle In Date and Vehicle Out Date are copied to Actual_Start_Date and Actual_Finish_Date, and the Duration is calculated. LRIV Fleet Work Order If the value for the Current Reading on the Fleet Work Order is less than the current reading in sa_runtime_log for the Asset ID on a P type Fleet Work Order, the PM Master is updated in the Last PM field with the meter_reading_current value from the Fleet Work Order. Also, the Current Meter field on the PM Master is updated with the greatest value from sa_runtime_log instead of the Current Meter field on the Fleet Work Order. EAM Fleet Work Order / PM Master The Fleet Work Order now uses the Vehicle In and Vehicle Out as the Actual Start Date and Actual Finish Date when the Fleet Work Order is set to Finished status. The data base procedure sdbp_pm_finish calculates the Critical Reference Date and Next Schedule Date for Runtime type PM Masters based on the Actual Finish Date of the P-type Fleet Work Order. LRIV Invoicing The system no longer generates an error when creating an Invoice if the User's Responsibility profile does not include the INVOICE PAY TO VENDORS function. The Pay_To_Vendor_Code field is protected from update at Insert and Updating. EAM PM Master Modified the script cat17932a.sql to ensure records created prior to the script being run retains their existing values for the column PM_SCHEDULE_TYPE in SA_PM_MASTER. KPAR PM Master Modified processing so the Critical number on the PM Master header is null when the PM Master is in Planning, Canceled and Closed status. TRAX PM Master A new "Created Work Order ####### " message has been added to the Cycle this PM Now action. LRIV-913 Runtime Entry Modified process so the column ENTERED_DATE in the table SA_RUNTIME_LOG is populated with SYSDATE when a Runtime entry is added directly in the Runtime module. EAM Scheduling - Daily Users can now enter two digit sequence numbers. KPAR Scheduling - Daily Print Report actions now work correctly with Report Administration when calling both standard and custom reports. KPAR Scheduling - Daily There were a couple issues resolved with this item. 1) Users will no longer be allowed to add a column that is already on the view. 2)Tasks can now be resequenced with no issues. KPAR-433 Scheduling - Daily Daily Schedule Task Picklist Wizard (Weekly Forecast) - sorting by schedule date now sorts properly. LRIV-794 Scheduling - Daily Users no longer receive errors after a large number of requests are made. The size of the history cache has been increased and the number of requests saved has been decreased. LRIV-917 Scheduling - Daily The Leave Summary view no longer includes canceled leave requests. 2/21/2008 Page 2

3 PCAL-14.2 Scheduling - Daily The SIA custom menu now supports REPORT and URL action types. The NON_PK_NAMES column also now supports both action types. This column holds the field names that you want to pass to the custom action command that are not prime key fields. The fields must be in the master (or header) table and must be named the same. You can include multiple fields using comma delimiters (i.e. CREW,SCHEDULE_DATE,ASSET_ID). For URL type custom actions, the basic URL should be put in the command_string field. Parameters are passed to the basic URL from the prime or non-prime key fields dynamically at runtime. For example, if the basic URL is parameters would be passed at runtime such that the URL would look like this from daily scheduling: SPLW-6405 Scheduling - Daily Task List section - Added an extra insert row at the bottom to allow users to enter a single work order task without having to use the Add Tasks wizard. EAM Scheduling - Daily Added formatting to the To_Date function so as not to rely on Oracle default date format. JCLO-18 Scheduling - Print ALL Work Orders on Schedule action will now put all work orders in a single PDF instead of creating individual reports for each work order. TRAX Scheduling - Schedule has been converted to SIA. It now looks very similar to Daily Schedule. Refer to the Help documentation for more information. TRAX Stock Checkout Stock Checkout module now displays the Asset ID from the Work instead of the Work Order header. EAM Timekeeping Processing corrected to ensure that all of the Timesheet Hours are correctly reflected in the Timekeeping Views when pay period spans months. EAM Timekeeping The Weekly and Bi-Weekly views now show correct data when pay periods span months. Also fixed: Drilldown on time from any of timekeeping views now navigates to the associated daily timesheet. EAM Timekeeping Secondary required fields for the TIMESHEET block are no longer system required, but are still marked as required. The "Required" checkbox in Modules Administration - Forms can be unchecked if the fields being required is not desired. LRIV Timekeeping Processing corrected to disallow creation of a Timesheet record against closed or non-existing pay or accounting periods. LRIV Timekeeping The error no longer produced when upper Next / Previous Record arrows used from any of the time views. LRIV Timekeeping & Work list of values now includes Finished Tasks that are on an KPAR Direct Charges Timekeeping Module Approved Work Order. Comments view now displays in Timesheet module. The view shows up only when a user is on the Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Semi-Monthly or Monthly view of the Timesheet. EAM Timesheet Added a new column TIMESHEET_SEQ_NO to SA_ACCOUNT_LOG and to SA_TIMESHEET. The Timesheet sequence number is generated for each new Timesheet line item created and is inserted into the Account Log when the Timesheet is Posted. 2/21/2008 Page 3

4 LRIV Timesheet Corrected processing to ensure the REGULAR_TYPE field is required when the REGULAR_HOURS field is populated on the timesheet line item. The Timesheet form has required fields established on the form based on which line item fields are populated. If the REGULAR_HOURS field is populated, then REGULAR_TYPE field is required. Likewise, if the PREMIUM_HOURS field is populated, the PREMIUM_TYPE field is required. These conditionally required fields are programmed on the form and are not setup in the Modules module in the Administration subsystem. RVEK-55.1 Timesheet Corrected processing so the Regular Type value entered is not reverted to the default value after saving a new timesheet detail record. EAM Weekly Forecast The Craft field on the Labor block of the Weekly Forecast has been set as a primary key. TRAX WO, Benchmark WO When a Benchmark is created from a Work Order via the Create Benchmark from Work Order action, the 'Last Updated By' (Help->About Record) on the Benchmark Task is populated with the name of the user who created the Benchmark Work Order. TRAX Work History Dropped the FK_SHIP_MEMO_WO constraint in the SA_SHIPPING_MEMO table to allow Work Orders which are referenced on a Shipping Memo can be moved to History. TRAX Work History The Project ID field on the Work History > Search screen has been increased to 10 characters. EAM Work Order Modified processing to ensure that change_request_ind field value is copied to Benchmark Work Order record when it is created from an existing Work Order record. EAM-18.1 Work Order The Work detail title is now correctly refreshed when the user navigates to the Detail view from the Summary view by double clicking on the task number. EAM-326 Work Order Modified processing so that, if an unplanned Direct Charge is created against a Work, the Revised Estimate Quantity and Amount fields are no longer populated. This change matches the existing functionality for unplanned Timesheet and Stock Checkout costs. LRIV-486 Work Order Updated cat27040.sql to account for the possibility of craftsmen_quantity being zero. A decode statement is used instead of NVL for the craftsmen_quantity. For a NULL or zero value, the system now substitutes a "1". LRIV Work Order The Work Order status can be changed from Planning, Pending Approval or Approved to Active for Material Disposition / Repair Work Orders with an Asset ID and a Component ID in Material Disposition status. LRIV Work Order Corrected processing so that, if a Work Order is reset to Planning status because a new task is added, and then reset to Active status, the system does not delete any existing Material, Labor, or Other Requirement data from Tasks with Compatible Units. SPLW Work Material: If the value in the Originator field matches either a username or default name in the User Profile module, then that user's employee phone and department will be copied over to the requisition created from the WO material item. TRAX Work Order The Work Order status can now be changed from Planning, Pending Approval or Approved to Active for Material Disposition / Repair Work Orders with an Asset ID and a Component ID in Material Disposition status. TRAX Work Order Corrected form processing so when moving from the Work summary screen to the Task detail using menu keying (ALT+V then T) no error message is generated. 2/21/2008 Page 4

5 TRAX Work Order MWIL-14 Work Order / Task Fleet WO, Bench WO, Fleet Bench WO, Requestor field LOV on the header has been changed to be in uppercase, matching the field input. Modified the invoicing procedure to populate the storeroom record with the Last Invoice Price for direct stock Items. For work orders that reference direct type stock Items, the list of values on the Work Order Material view now populates the Unit Price field with the value in the Last Invoice Price field. When a direct stock item is being planned on the Work Items Worksheet, the system populates the Unit Price field with the value in the Storeroom Pricing s Last Invoice Price field. Also modified processing so that when Stock Type is changed from Inventory/Expense to Direct, or Direct to Inventory, the system sets the Storeroom Average Unit Price field to null. EAM Work Order Closeout Wizard Set the AUTO CLOSE CHECKOUT REQUESTS rule key in the Work Order Processing business rule to ON and the Task Progress radio button on the Work Progress Wizard to FINISH LATER to have the system leave any Checkout Request in Active status in Active status until all item quantities are checked out or the Work is set to Finished status using the Work Order wizard or the status is changed on the Task. EAM KPAR Work Order, Bench WO, Fleet WO, Bench Fleet, Task Work Order, Bench WO, Fleet WO, Bench Fleet, Task The craftsmen_quantity column in the sa_work_order_labor table has been set as a system required field on all five work order forms. The user no longer receives an error when the asset and component entered on the task have different BOM IDs. LRIV EAM EAM-16.1 Work Order, Bench WO, Fleet WO, Bench Fleet, Task Work Order, Work, Fleet Work Order, Service Request, Work Order, Work Increased size of the Engine Desc field from 15 to 20 characters. Processing fixed to validate the accounting period instead of pay period when Direct charges action used in Service Request, Work and WO related modules. The base table has been nulled for the Help > About Item for the field ITEM_QUANTITY on Work Material Detail view. KPAR TRAX EAM EAM-22.1 Work Order, Work Work Order, Work Work Order, Work, Benchmark WO, Fleet WO, Fleet Bench WO Work Planning The CREW from the Task does not carry over to the Scheduling view of Work s where there isn't a Crew defined on the Task. When the Task Finish Wizard is completed, the Work Order module now focuses on the Task block and allows navigation to any block on the Views list. Focus no longer jumps to the Work Order header block. Search results now can be ordered by Asset ID on all work order modules. Drilldown on the Asset ID on the results page no longer puts a value of "N" in the Asset Record Type field on the Asset form. Portal EAM-610 Work Request Work Request no longer goes into insert mode when the Refresh icon is clicked after a Work Request record is created and saved. 2/21/2008 Page 5

6 SPLW Work Request Approval Portal: Users no longer receive a transaction processing error when approving a work request. TRAX Work Request Added close_wo_ind to Work Request which provides a way to default a new Work Order to have the "Auto Close?" indicator set to "Y". The new indicator on the Work Request is on the "Create WO from Request" wizard. It can be set up to have a default value of "Y" in the Modules module (for the Work Request module), but should NOT be set as a required field. TRAX Work Request SPLW Work Request, Work Order Fixed Work Request module to return cursor to default state after navigating to Work Order module using the Go To Work Order action. The Total Priority field is now calculated correctly on a Follow-up Work Request and on the Work that is created from the Follow-up Work Request. SR # Module Description Maintenance EAM-745 Benchmark Work Order Corrected processing so no error is generated when a new task is added and material records are also added without requerying the task. TRAX Benchmark Work Order Added a new function responsibility, CREATE WO FROM BENCHMARK. Users must have this function in their responsibility profile to access the Create Work Order from Benchmark action. EAM-512 Direct Charges Direct Charge item record: When F6 and F4 used to copy a line with charge type W, the work order task field is no longer protected against update. EAM-762 Direct Charges Users can no longer add direct charge items into the Direct Charge module for accounting periods that are closed. Attempting to do so generates an error message. EAM Direct Charges Line Items are now reordered by ITEM_NO when user refreshes the screen or presses F8 after inserting a new record. KPAR-557 Fleet Asset Modified the view SV_VEHICLE_MILEAGE updated the SELECTION_REASONABLE and RESULTS_REASONABLE data block's ASSET_CLASS to CLASS. LRIV-1380 Fleet Benchmark Work Order Release V The Create WO from Benchmark action no longer disappears when scrolling through records or using the action to create a work order and then navigating to a different record. EAM Fleet PM Control PM Masters in Canceled or Closed status which are associated to a Fleet PM Control record do not have their statuses changed when the Fleet PM Control header status is changed from Active to Planning or Planning to Active status. If the Fleet PM Control status is changed from Closed or Canceled status to Planning all associated PM Master statuses will changed to Planning status. LRIV Fleet PM Control Status changes are now permitted at the PM Master item level, allowing individual PM Masters can be modified without errors. LRIV Fleet PM Control Status changes from any status back to Created status is now invalid. KPAR-403 Fleet Work Order Modified processing to ensure downtime is automatically calculated if the Auto Calculate Downtime indicator is set to Y and the Vehicle Out Date and Time has not been saved when the Fleet Work Order status is set to Finished. SKIR-79 Fleet Work Order Credit PM functionality has been added to Fleet Work Order. It works the same as Credit PM for regular work orders, except the Meter Reading Last PM is updated from the Fleet Work Order Meter Reading Out during the PM Finish batch process, rather than from the Runtime Log. If a Fleet Asset has dual meters with different meter units only the PM Master with the equivalent Runtime meter units is updated with the Last PM Meter Reading. The Fleet Work Order Credit PM Action should only be used to credit PM's for Fleet Asset PM Masters where the Runtime Meter Units are the same or are Calendar schedule basis. 2/21/2008 Page 6

7 LRIV PM Master Modified status processing so when a PM Master is set to Active status, and there are Runtime Log entries with the same meter entries over multiple days without a time stamp on the meter reading date, no divide by zero error occurs. LRIV PM Master The Critical Reference Date is now null on all existing Runtime and Runtime Interval PM Masters and is no longer generated when creating new Runtime type PM Masters with the "Or Every" calendar interval populated. LRIV PM Master A new Responsibility based Function: SHOW CYCLE PM GROUP NOW ACTION has been added to allow users the ability to cycle a PM Master and all of its sub-pm Masters within its PM Group. LRIV PM Master A new RESET CANCELED PM GROUP option has been added to the PM Master Parameters Business Rule. This option determines scheduling of lesser PM Masters in a PM Group when a higher level PM cycles, superseding the lesser PMs, but then the higher level PM Work Order is canceled or rejected. When this option is set to NO, the default value, canceling or rejecting the higher level PM Work Order simply cancels all PMs in the group and resets them to cycle on the next schedule date or runtime trigger. If this option is set to YES, canceling or rejecting the higher level PM Work Order cancels only the higher PM and all superseded PM Masters within the group are reset to cycle as previously forecast before the higher level PM cycled. If the YES setting is used, it is strongly recommended that the current meter reading field on Fleet PM Master be configured as a status required field at Finished to ensure accurate runtime forecasting. LRIV-1542 PM Master Modified SDBP_PM_FINISH to correctly reforecast Calendar Anniversary type PM Masters when a manually cycled Work Order is added to the forecast and the PM Master is reforecast on it next regularly cycled interval. LRIV PM Master Address information for "Address" or "Address with Nodes" type Asset records are copied to the Work Order / Task / Asset Data when a PM Master it is associated to cycles based in it Next PM Due triggers. PCAL-36.1 PM Master Added a new Always Supersede indicator to the PM Groups View. This indicator sets the PM Master listed as a sub-pm Master to be superseded whenever the higher level PM Master cycles. If the indicator is set to Y, no Runtime or Calendar Tolerance settings are necessary. RWIN-25.2 PM Master New fields have been added to the PM Master header: PM Runtime Group Delay and PM Calendar Group Delay. When these fields are populated, lower level PM Masters within a PM Group are delayed if their Next PM Due plus the Delay Tolerance is equal to or greater than the Next PM Due of a higher level PM Master in the PM Group. The delayed PM Master's forecast is updated with the value of DELAYED in the Adjustment Type column and the PM Master causing the delay is also populated in the PM Group column. When the higher level PM Master cycles, those PM Masters which were delayed are then updated with the Work Order number created and the DELAYED value is overwritten with SUPERSEDED in the PM Master forecast. SKIR-89.2 PM Master 1. Added Fleet PM Control Number to the PM Master header. 2. Corrected processing to allow the Schedule Type to modified for individual PM Masters associated to a Fleet PM Control Record. 3. Added processing to the F6/F4 duplicate record functionality to clear the Fleet PM Control number and PM Category fields on all duplicated records.. EAM PM Master / Fleet Work Order All sub-pm Masters within the PM Group are now reforecast when the Fleet Work Order generated from the top level PM Master is set to Finished status. KPAR PM Route Removed the duplicate Save Search action on the search screen. BBUR-33 Scheduling - Daily / 1. Work Order LOV and Add Task wizard results were returning invalid values. Those values will now be filtered out. 2. Added database table indexes to improve loading speed for Work Order LOV and Add Task wizard results. KPAR Scheduling - Daily / Tuned several views to improve performance. 2/21/2008 Page 7

8 KPAR Scheduling - Daily / LRIV Scheduling - Daily / LRIV Scheduling - Daily / LRIV Scheduling - Daily / LRIV Scheduling - Daily / Calendar now displays correctly when server regional settings are selected for Australia. When adding a task to a Daily Schedule from a Schedule or vice versa, the Task Desc is now available in the results options. Scheduling records created from PM Master no longer have a timestamp added to the schedule_date or schedule_start_date. Add Task wizard - Users no longer receive an error when sorting by Crew. Added paging to the Tasks section of the Data page. The default number of records to display is 10. Users can change this setting under Options, but the more records displayed, the longer the page will take to load. No longer able to copy tasks to CLOSED schedules using the Copy Tasks actions. LRIV-1817 Scheduling - Daily / SPLW Scheduling - Daily / Add Task wizard search screen - Added LOVs to all Report Code fields and several others that can be added from the options. EAM Timekeeping Corrected processing so that if you create a new timesheet by selecting the New icon on either the ROS page or an existing timesheet, and then delete it, only newly the newly created timesheet is deleted. EAM Timekeeping Corrected processing to populate the Timesheet Multiplier, Adder and OT rate fields based on the Timesheet Regular Type. EAM Timekeeping Corrected processing to clear the work_order_task_no when the work_order_no field is changed. KPAR Timekeeping When a User enters vacation time on a timesheet and then switches the Leave Type from Vacation to SICK time, the application now revalidates the available Leave hours if LEAVE HOURS option set to ON in Timekeeping Editchecks Business rule. LRIV Timekeeping The Timesheet Wizard now checks the Timekeeping Charge Types Business Rule to determine which charge types are retrieved by the wizard. LRIV Timekeeping The work order task number now retained on the timesheet line item when a timesheet is created from a work order task, time entered and the record is saved. LRIV Timekeeping Timekeeping Search Screen: now timesheets can be filtered by PERIOD_YEAR. PCAL-21.1 Timekeeping SAPI can now be called on a when-validate-item trigger for the premium_type column. TRAX Timekeeping Timekeeping module: Help>About Record now shows Created Date, Created by, Last Updated by and Last Updated on information. TRAX Timekeeping Corrected processing to ensure that no error is generated when there is a single line item on a Timesheet and that line item is deleted. TRAX Timekeeping Corrected processing to allow timesheet status change from Reopened to Approved when there are no new line items and other items are in Posted status. Then SDBP_COST_LABOR resets timesheet status to POSTED. JCLO-19 Timekeeping, Employee Implemented the ability to select the day or days to apply a particular charge/type number on an employee s timesheet. EAM-541 Work Order An error no longer occurs when Special LOVs are added on the WORK_ORDER_TASK_NO field in the Timekeeping Module and then timesheet action selected in Work Order module. EAM Work Order The column FINISHED_DATE in SA_WORK_ORDER_TASK is now populated when a Work is set to Finished status. The column is not available for update by a user so will retain the actual date and time when the Work was set to Finished status. EAM Work Order Emergency Work Orders created from a Work Request or the action from the home page will be automatically added to the next days schedule for the crew selected. KPAR Work Order Work Orders in "Approved / Awaiting Activation" status will now be set to "Finished" status when SDBP_FINISH_WO batch job runs and ALL of the tasks are in "Finished" or "Canceled" status. 2/21/2008 Page 8

9 LRIV-760 Work Order When activating a Work Order that is referencing a Change Request in CREATED status, the correct SYN-W error appears: "You can only create Work Orders in PLANNING status without an Approved Change Request." SKIR-54.1 Work Order Increased Task Material Sequence Number to 5 characters. SKIR-55.1 Work Order / Fleet Work Order Two new display-only fields have been added to the Work Materials view: Lead Time and Estimated Delivery Date. 1. Lead time is copied from the Catalog or Storeroom depending on the setting of the Batch Stock Reorder Business Rule STOREROOM REORDER PROCESSING option. 2. Estimated Delivery Date is calculated based on the system date plus the lead time in calendar days. A new option has been added to the Work Order Processing Business Rule: USE ESTIMATE AS MATL REQD DATE. When this option is OFF (the default), the Material Required Date is not automatically populated. When the setting is ON, the Material Required Date is automatically populated to equal to the Estimated Delivery Date. If a user enters a Required Date that is less than the Estimated Delivery Date, a warning message is generated to alert the material planner of the discrepancy. KPAR-1018 MWIL-24 Work Order / Work Work Order / Work Disallowed Update from Benchmark action if the Work Order already has an Active Task. Added a new Create Checkout Request action to the Work which allows a user to create a checkout request based on planned task material requirements. EAM-781 Work Material Detail Screen: modified the LOV name and record group name for the storeroom field from TASK_STOREROOM_LNK_STOCK_CODE to TSK_STORERM_LNK_STCKCODE. Error no longer occurs when special LOV created. EAM Work Procedure SDBP_COST_LABOR modified to correctly post costs to work order tasks. The Checkout Request wizard has been modified to all a Courtesy Stores Checkout Request reference a Purchase Order and the Work it was generated from.
