5 Axel CNC Visual Programming - Optional Module The Axel CNC Visual Programming module provides a quick and convenient way of creating CNC measuring programs visually, when used in conjunction with Axel Foundation software. Programs can be created in Learn Mode, off-line or directly from a CAD drawing. One of the benefi ts of Axel CNC Visual Programming is that the program can be fully developed and tested for its functionality in a simulation using a Dry Run mode. Programs can be run either in full or in parts from convenient, user-selected start points. With the addition of multiple break-points, execution can be started, continued or stopped from any convenient part in the program. Using the functionality of the CNC Program Editor, the user can create a program by drawing it onto a form. An extensive library of CNC feature measurement routines is provided for shapes and confi gurations such as lines, circles, arcs, planes, cones, spheres, cylinders and CAD surface points. Where necessary, the CNC Program Editor together with the Variable Manager function enables the user to create their own standard measuring sequence. 8 Axel Tube Wizard Software - Optional Module The Axel Tube Wizard simplifies measurement of manipulated tube, pipe, wire or hose when used in conjunction with Axel Foundation software. Upon entering a description of the component, the Axel Tube Wizard automatically generates a measuring sequence and a 3D graphic. Tubes may be inspected as prototypes or against their nominal CAD / drawing. During measurement the operator is prompted to measure the designated features of the tube, which are also highlighted in the Window. As an additional feature, result boxes are automatically posted at every bend. After the tube is measured, industry standard reports are generated for conformance purposes, containing tube correction data. Interfaces to various bending machines are also provided and incorporated as part of the Axel Tube Wizard software. Rendering is a further feature provided in the package to assist visual presentation and accuracy.
