9 TrueSight Capacity Optimization 10.5 New architectural components TrueSight Presentation Server (TSPS) requirements are not expected to vary as widely for M/L envs: in production environment AS, TSPS and SSO have to be installed on three different server for test/production (and also for very small installation?), it is allowed for TSPS + SSO to be on the same server, with AS on a separate server it is not allowed (also in test/dev) for TSPS + AS or TSPS + SSO + AS to be installed on the same servers. TSPS also requires Atrium SSO (ASSO) to create or allow users to log into TSPS in the future Remedy SSO is expected to replace ASSO for TSPS Please have customers leverage the AMIGO program for migrations/sizing guidance

21 TrueSight Capacity Optimization v10.5 Enhanced Basic Reporting The Enhanced Basic Reporting includes improved flexibility for report content structuring and ability to group multiple reports together in a composite basic report Content structuring through chart grouping, allows to combine different analysis and models for the same report, and group them by Analysis/Model or by Entity Name Page Layout allows to arrange the charts and tables in the report and define the number of columns and rows Existing Basic Reports can be used to build a single composite report Customer value: Improved Flexibility for Basic Reports easier and quicker analysis of domain-based content in reports through composite reporting and structured layout capabilities Reduce or eliminate manual effort in Word documents or building BIRT reports

35 TrueSight Capacity Optimization 10.5 Automatic Creation of Manager Runs A new interactive UI is available for creating multiple Manager Runs and: automate creation of policy files and manager runs for a Gateway Server create multiple policy files and manager runs for a Gateway Server For multiple manager runs created from a single list of servers for a Gateway Server, you can update properties of all manager runs by updating the properties of the master manager run

36 TrueSight Capacity Optimization 10.5 Automatic Creation of Manager Runs Can TSCO 10.5 Console talk to a 10.3 Gateway Server to automatically create manager runs? Yes, it can but 10.3 Gateway Server supports creation of single manager run from a single agent list -It does not support the creation of multiple manager runs from a single agent list What is the difference between 10.3 Gateway Server and 10.5 Gateway Server? The primary difference is support of multiple manager runs from a single agent list Also additional error codes and robustness has been added to 10.5 Are there any prerequisite for auto manager run wizard? Default manager run configuration should be setup with good default values for all manager run parameters
