3 The Portfolio and Project Management Consulting Solution List of Open Points enables you to create and manage open points that have to be completed for successful project execution. Have a quick overview over all open points for your project and delegate them easily to project team members in charge.

4 Functionality This solution enables you to create and manage open points that have to be completed for successful project execution. It provides a quick overview over all open points for the project and makes easy delegation to responsible project team members possible. This solution uses standard PPM objects and is fully integrated into the PPM user interface. Generate open points on project level and delegate them to responsible project team members Have an overview of points of your responsibility in personal view Send s to responsible project team members which have been assigned to an specific open point Create non-project related open points for yourself in personal view 4

5 Project View All open points for specific project are listed in a table with a specific status to control progress Possibility to Copy lop items Change data for multiple lines at once by selecting multiple entries from the table Append rows for new open points Delete rows 5

6 Project View Responsible Users Responsible users depend on assigned resources for the project Each user will then see the open point he or she is assigned to in his or her personal list of open point Possibility to send s to responsible users for the open point to inform them about their assignment 6

7 Personal View for Project Team Members Quick overview of all open points for the project team member only Column Connected Project allows for easy tracing of the corresponding project the open point belongs to Possibility to append rows for non-project related open points for personal usage change multiple rows at the same time Delete rows from the table 7

8 Open Points of Connected Subprojects By clicking on Show Subproject OPs all open points of connected subproject for the current main projects will be listed in the table as well Column Connected Project allows for easy tracing of the corresponding project the open point belongs to 8

9 Create Open Points in a Multi-Projectmanagement Environment By clicking Append Row for Subproject an open point for a connected subproject within your main projected can directly be created 9

10 Lock Mechanism When a user is currently editing an open point this point is locked and cannot be edited as long as it is being edited by the other project team member The icon in column Lock displays a lock and the tooltip provides information about the user who is locking the corresponding item This functionality is available in both the personal LOP and project-related LOP 10

11 Detail Screen of Open Points By clicking on either the Detail button or on the action link in the table the detail screen for an open point opens Further data can be maintained In case of appending a new row, the required fields have to be maintained before closing Navigation to previous or next LOP entry possible within detail screen When closing the detail screen changed data will be returned to the table 11
