1 USER STORY A very common requirement for any organization, be it a small company or a big large scale industry is to create teams out of the different employees. Here is a scenario where a Line of 100 people needs to be segregated into teams. The teams are formed on the basis of their area of work like ERP, Performance etc. These formed teams can then be modified to make changes to details of the existing member. This is the first step of a scenario where a manager or lead can get insight about the work/tasks done by a specific team like reporting no. of apps designed, New Defects Count based on the team effort. The Fiori app we are going to build needs to provide a quick and easy way to create new teams and modify existing teams with different employees. PERSONA
2 Name: John For me, I would to : I like to get things done quickly and in a simple well organized way with accuracy and efficiency Background: 30 years old, 7 years work experience, working as Manager for a test organization of around 100 employees. Wants everything well organized. Job Title / Role: Manager Job Responsibilities (Main tasks and frequency): Creates and manages teams details. Creates backlogs for the teams under him based on service requests received from stakeholders. Assign backlogs to respective teams. Regularly track status of the various tasks/activities of each team. Creates monthly reports of tasks done by all the teams under him. Main Goals: Capacity Planning Managing Teams and member details To avoid erroneous data To eliminate dependency with the scrum masters. Backlog allocations to respective teams Monitor tasks to be done by each team and send a report to higher management. Needs: An easier way to create new teams and to add or remove any member as per requirement and the same thing should reflect in systems from where he fetches data about individual and team efforts for a particular task/backlog. Pain Points: No centralized way to maintain Team members data (add new members or delete members who left the team) Extracting details about the tasks done. Sending out report every month Appending all the details and creating a single report manually. Repetitive tasks for different teams and manual effort Stakeholders: Senior Managers, Leads
3 USER EXPERIENCE JOURNEY POINT OF VIEW John, the Team Manager needs a centralized way to manage teams and the members so that its easier for him to keep a track of all employees and monitor tasks/backlogs related details for all his teams so that error due to manual intervention and huge calculation time is saved. 5 WEB IDE SCREENSHOTS The Manage Team app allows the user to: 1. Create a new team : The user can search all the employees in the list. He can then select any number of employees by using the checkboxes. Clicking on Create Team button opens a pop up for the confirmation of new team to be formed with a specific name. Fig: Here in the first screen, a. the user can search for a particular team using the search button. Once he selects a particular team, details of that team is shown with the existing members. b. The first view in the details screen shows the team members and the second view shows the other details like scrum master and the performance of the team. c. One can click on the Create Team to create a sub team OR Modify details for an existing member like his leaving date from the team, role etc. d. One can also share the app using and can create a tile for the app. e. One can navigate to the Member Details Page by clicking on a particular member. 2. Modify Team : The user can search for an existing Team. Clicking on the Modify button opens another dialog where the user needs to add data for a new member entry or change details for an existing member. If the user clicks on OK, the details are changed and a toast message is displayed for the same. The user can also Cancel the operation altogether.
6 3. Switch to different views : The user can switch between two views in the Team Details Page. He can send and also create a tile for the app.
7 4. Navigate to Team Member Details Page : The user can select a Team Member and navigate to a Team Member Details Page.
