2 An overview of Astun's Geospatial Cloud Consultancy Services Astun s technical experts have experience of deploying both Astun s ishare platform and bespoke open source geospatial solutions within the Amazon Cloud. Our ishare in the Cloud, Astun Data Services and Get INSPIREd in the Cloud services have been designed for performance, robustness and scalability. Astun s Geospatial Cloud Services can include: Configuring an ishare in the Cloud implementation Configuring GetINSPIREd Enterprise Building a PostGIS, GeoServer, GeoNetwork, MapServer or other OSGeo implementation in the cloud Design and architecture of a complete cloud geospatial solution Integrating your local systems and databases with a cloud solution Providing advice on cloud based security, network connectivity (VPN) and authentication Getting you started with Amazon Web Services Training or mentoring your staff in deploying OSGeo technologies within the cloud Supporting and/or managing your open source geospatial cloud implementation Migrating solutions from 'on premise' to the cloud Data Migration Astun s Geospatial Cloud Consultants include operations technicians, consultants, developers, architects and project managers all of whom have wide experience of delivering and supporting open source geospatial solutions in the cloud. 4 Notes Consultant s Working Day 7 hours exclusive of travel and lunch. Working Week Monday to Friday excluding national holidays Office Hours 09:00 17:30 Monday to Friday Travel and Subsistence Included in day rate within M25. Payable at department s standard T&S rates outside M25. Mileage As above Pre purchased blocks of consultancy services The following discounts apply to pre purchased blocks of consultancy services No. of days purchased Discount % % % Over 50 10% Orders to pre purchase consultancy services can include a mix of SFIA levels which can be adjusted within the overall value of the order. Blocks of consultancy services must be called off within 12 months of the date of order, unutilised days cannot be carried forward. 5 Ordering and invoicing process The customer should provide by A purchase order confirming the number of consultancy days purchased by SFIA level The name of the individual(s) authorised to call off consultancy days from the pre purchased block Signed acceptance of our Conditions of Service Astun will provide: An invoice for the service Details of how to make requests to call off days from a block of pre purchased consultancy days On boarding and Off boarding processes Service management details Astun's Geospatial Cloud Consultancy Services are available during normal business hours (Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm). Out of hours working may be arranged on request. 6 Training Consultancy days can be utilised for onsite or offsite training and mentoring of customer staff. Termination By customers No refund is available for any unutilised pre purchased consultancy days By the Supplier Astun Technology may terminate the provision of the service by giving a minimum of 3 months notice. In such circumstances Astun will refund any unutilised pre purchased consultancy days.
