1 TOOLBOX FUNCTION: Modules Affected: Versions Affected: Call Management System COINS Ti (software level 9.7c2.36TI) The discussion of this new function is divided into the sections shown below. Background... 1 Using the Toolbox Function... 2 Verify Changed Information... 5 Background In a quick paced field service environment, details for a service visit can sometimes be assigned to the wrong call. The Toolbox program can be used reassign all visit details from one call to another. For example, you scheduled a visit and dispatched it; details were recorded in Mobile Technician and transferred to CMS; and dispatch was completed. At that point you discover that the details applied to a different call. You can use the toolbox to reassign that visit and all of its details to a different call number. Note: This function should be run before approving the visit details. The visit must be completed and the visit's time cards certified in Mobile Tech first. This Toolbox program works only on the CMS Visit Details so it should be used before any data is transferred to S/M or Payroll. 05/26/ Copyright 2009 Construction Industry Solutions (Shaker) Corporation.
2 Using the Toolbox Function To access the Toolbox program: 1. Sign on to character COINS. (If necessary, refer to the Sign On Steps outlined in the COINS user manuals.) 2. Select any module from the COINS Master Menu. 3. Select Report Menu from the module menu. 4. Select User-defined Reports from the Report Menu. 5. Enter tbk007.p at the Enter Report Name prompt. Enter the authorized code at the Enter Licensing Code prompt. Note COINS USA provides the license code when you acquire this Toolbox program. Enter it in upper and/or lower case, exactly as it is given to you. 05/26/2009 2
3 Figure 2: Licensing Code Entry Screen Enter Licensing Code: xxxx-xxxx-xxxx 7. A warning screen appears when the licensing code is correctly entered, as shown in Figure 3. It reminds you that you need to back up the database before running the Toolbox program. Enter Y to continue. Contact COINS Support immediately if you suspect that the program did not finish running. Do you wish to continue? Y 8. Specify the visit number for the visit that you want to update. The bottom part of the screen displays the current call, technician, scheduled date, and other information for that visit, as shown in Figure 4. The bottom part of the screen confirms the information that will be used when the visit details are switched to the new, as shown in Figure Enter Y at the Data Correct? prompt.
