2 Universal Cash Drawer (UCD) The UCD (Universal Cash Drawer) was constructed using the latest production methods. It is robust, lightweight and offers large capacity at a minimum size. The removable and folding coin insert simplifies the cash handling. Folding and locking the insert reduces to a minimum the time the contents are visible. In addition, transportation is simplified. When folded together, the dimensions of the insert also offer space advantages when being stored in the safe. The coin and note compartments are flexible and can be adapted for use with international currencies. High security The technical concept of the UCD makes it easier to remove the cash insert, which can be folded together. The operator can close and lock the cash insert and transport this box simply and securely. No additional cover plate is required. During transport the insert is locked and the contents are not visible to others. When folded together, the dimensions of the insert also offer space advantages when being stored in the safe. Usable in all POS systems The UCD fits to all POS systems. The UCD contains an interchangeable release device on the back which ensures easy connection to various models. When there is a system change, only a new release needs to be installed rather than having to replace the whole drawer. Lockable cash drawer The cash drawer is opened electrically via a connection to the POS system or to the printer. High-quality telescopic rails guarantee a long lifecycle in all market sectors, even those with heavy use. There is a quality lock on the front. 3 Flexible interior The inside of the cash drawer can be organised flexibly and thus adapted to the currency used. In the standard Euro configuration, there are four note and eight coin compartments. If desired, a fifth note compartment can be made from two coin compartments. The remaining six coin compartments can equally be increased to eight by adding two additional separators. The UCD offers a wide media slot on the front. Cheques and receipts can be securely inserted without having to open the cash drawer. 4 Universal Cash Cassette (UCC) Keeping cash secure and safe at the till is a business-critical procedure in the retail industry. With the UCC (Universal Cash Cassette), Torex Retail offers an innovative model with quality security and intelligent design features. The UCC is built using compatible standard measurements. Its hardwearing metal casing contributes to security at the POS and can easily be released from the cash desk. The release mechanism which is integrated into the outer cassette is connected to the printer or till using a simple plug-in connector. The variable plastic inner cassette with lockable lid improves the ergonomics at the cash desk and offers additional security during transportation. The UCC is a variable cash cassette that combines a large capacity with a space-saving design. Separate base plate The outer cassette can be screwed onto the cash desk or locked on the base plate where it was previously mounted. Using the base plate, allows for simple and safe removal of the outer cassette. Integrated release mechanism with pluggable connection cables The electric release mechanism is accommodated securely in the metal casing of the outer cassette. The connection to the printer or to the till terminal is by means of a simple plug-in connection. Lockable inner cassette The inner cassette has an integrated lid which makes a separate cover a thing of the past. For alternating cashiers, all that s needed are economical additional inner cassettes. The lid is lockable and offers additional security for transportation to the cash office. 5 Flexible interior Coin and note compartments, with a separate cheque/receipt compartment, can be arranged how you like on the left or right inside the inner cassette. This improves workplace ergonomics and ensures additional security at the cash desk. 6 Euro Cash Cassette The Euro cash cassette can be used throughout the retail industry. It offers a high degree of security in terms of storing money at the POS workplace. The Euro cash cassette can be connected to a large number of different POS systems. Connection is directly to the POS or to the POS printer. The Euro cash cassette opens upwards, thus allowing the operator to sit nearer to the POS terminal and reach the contents easier. When the lid is open, outsiders cannot see inside the cash cassette. The Euro cassette is easy to transport due to its size, light-weight and compact dimensions. When installing, the cash cassette locks securely into the base. Removal is by the touch of a button. The Euro cash cassette is made of extremely hardwearing and durable plastic. The type of plastic and its construction guarantee a long lifecycle. Fixed base plate The Euro cash cassette system comprises a base and the Euro cash cassette. The base is fixed to the cash desk. The Euro cash cassette is placed onto the base and locked in. The electronic release mechanism is integrated to the base. To remove the Euro cash cassette from the base, all you need to do is simply open the cash cassette and press the release button. The cash cassette immediately disengages and can easily be removed. Robust cash cassette The Euro cash cassette is made of hardwearing and durable plastic. 7 Coin, note and receipt compartments There are eight coin compartments, six note compartments, one safety note compartment and one receipt compartment. At the front the Euro cash cassette has a media slot where receipts can be inserted securely and stored without it being necessary to open the cash cassette. 9 Coin and note compartments There are eight removable coin compartments and four note compartments for banknotes, cheques and credit card receipts. A fifth note compartment can be added by removing two coin compartments. Additionally, two different types of notes can be stored in one note compartment by using a note separator.
