3 What is i4energy? With WEBfactory i4energy you can collect and analyse data, signals and measurements from any source. Thanks to Data Warehouse technology i4energy works nearly in real-time and presents information almost immediately. i4energy is completely independent of any browser or device through HTML5 technology and data can be accessed from all around the world.

5 Basic Version Basic Version of the Software. Included Modules: Administration In the user administration you assign rights according to roles, regions, customers, reports, organizational units and areas. The administration interface allows you to manage, create and modify buildings and plants from the sector of production and supply. Here manual meter management is also possible. KPI Freely definable KPI in any number. For each organizational unit you can set individual KPIs such as total or per product. Media Freely definable Media in any number. For example electricity, water, gas, heating, waste, scrap, CO2 and solvent emissions. Consumption curve The work and performance curve can be issued individually for each organizational unit, building or plant. Counter Surveillance Here you will find information on the counter availability and quality and on any abnormalities. The counter monitoring allows you access to conversion factors, gap detection, interpolation, inactivity, deadband and plausibility checks. Data Acquisition Server A maximum of 300 meters can be managed and captured. The SCADA Server collects data and prepares them, then the i4energy picks them up in fixed intervals.

6 Basic + Included modules in addition to the Basic Version: Advanced Meter Management You can create and save any templates for meters of different manufacturers. The meters connection takes place automatically and is easy to implement in large numbers (e.g. via Wizard). Base load Here you can see the energy consumption in non-production periods, e.g. on the weekend. The representation takes place by a bar chart with definable target values. The target value is usually the smallest value obtained for the last weeks. The second bar chart displays the delta to the target value. The base load can be broken down for each organizational unit, building or plant. Monthly Reports Monthly reports can be created depending on user roles and permissions. The representation of the total energy consumption takes place in the bar chart. For energy and measures* there are comparable values with the previous year. *Module measure tracking necessary

7 Premium Version Included modules in addition to the Basic + Version: Accounting The accounting module can present service price, work price and basic price. Billings are definable for each medium. Analysis module The analysis module contains important analysis functions such as Sankey diagram and Benchmarking. The Sankey diagram illustrates the flow of energy, including energy quantities, by arrows of quantitative proportional thickness. Ranking and benchmarking allows you to compare energy consumption, from plant to group level. Equipment performance Here you establish the connection between energy and productivity and make comparisons to other similar systems. In this way you determine the overall-equipment-effectiveness and obtain a representation of loss, throughput and availability in the context of energy consumption. Demand notification Allows a requester of any such equipment group or hall to register its energy needs for an upcoming period at the power plant. To report no demand is also possible. The calendar function allows the required notification and request for all media. Reports Report content and layout can be freely defined. Reports can be automatically generated as daily, monthly or annual reports. In addition, you can create a schedule to automatically send reports. The reports are released in standard formats such as PDF and MS Office. Users can also supplement reports with comments. Best Case Value The best value ever is displayed here for the production units in this area. This value must be comparable and serves as a reference point for future achievement.

8 Version Premium Budget targets Desired and actual value comparisons also exist for the respective media and organizational units. The budget goals can be defined for each organizational unit on an exact monthly basis. A cumulative comparison curve provides an overview of the budget proposal and the actual consumption. Delta analysis The Delta analysis allows you to compare between different time periods, e.g. March 2013 to April 2014, and as well as the comparison of two different systems and consumptions. Advanced alarm module Here you can make transparent broken down counters, deviations, plausibility, etc. and create highly detailed alarm lists. Users will be actively informed of interferences. Energy Shopping Here interfaces to energy purchasing can be integrated. The individual programming of interfaces is determined by the customer. Forecast The forecast serves you for trend analysis, which allows you to forecast your approximate future energy consumption based on known factors. Counter-movements Informs you of any measures which do not lead to the planned energy saving, but which cause counter-movements. Such counter-movements can sometimes even lead to an increase in energy consumption. Peak load alarm The expected peak load is determined for each next quarter of an hour via mathematical methods. If a predefined value is expected to be exceeded, an alarm is generated.

9 Version Premium Layout configurator Allows you to easily create and edit floor layouts and equipment groups in a graphical user interface, without database configuration. The graphical interface also allows you a simple assignment of energy consumers and energy distributors. Manual meter acquisition via QR code Even counters that are not switched on IT infrastructure can be integrated. Especially convenient is to equip these counters with a QR code. If at the time of collection the QR code is scanned, the correct input mask for meter data automatically opens on the mobile device. Of course, a completely manual collection of meter data via the admin interface is also possible. In addition, you still have the possibility to import data from Excel. Measure Tracking Represents the measures sorted by level: identified and assessed potential, decided measure, achieved and confirmed savings or deferred. The measures list provides an overview of all measures available in the respective organization unit, supplemented by information such as necessary investment, savings potential, possible payback and actual status. The measure tracking provides you with a very good decision support for the achievement of objectives. Goals Here you can implement energy savings goals. Goals can be set individually for all organizational units, both annually and monthly. Your goals can be either absolute, such as planned energy consumption, or refer to a part or vehicle. Of course, you can individually define targets for all media. Target tracking The achievement of targets must of course be monitored for all raw materials and energy. The target tracking visualizes possible changes of the respective predetermined individual goals.

Service is available during normal office hours between 8 am and 6 pm from Monday to Friday. WEBfactory support packages can be used for any support cases and can be reordered if necessary. Invoicing will be accomplished quarter-hourly.
