The ultimate renewable material for architecture is also one of the oldest, and most attractive. Wood is solid, can be bent and shaped, is easily machined, and with the used of computer-aided-design and CNC milling, timber is also continuously contemporary. These benefits make wood our preferred material to use for room acoustics solutions. 3 Specification We can tailor specifications to meet performance, aesthetic and budget requirements, and as mentioned, this includes providing shop drawings in DWG or PDF to integrate with the rest of the design. Manufacture All solutions produced in a high-tech factory with a comprehensive quality monitoring process. Factory visits are welcomed. Finishes Almost limitless options including real-wood veneers, solid timber, man made coatings and coloured core boards. Other finishes include laminates, paint finishes and coloured core boards. If you have a clear idea for a custom finish, we can advise on suitability. Some panels are veneered MDF, other solutions in solid timber. 4 Woodfit Fine-line Great looking slatted timber systems for ceilings and walls which provide high sound absorption. Overview Woodfit Fine-Line slatted systems are available for both ceilings and walls. They are modular constructions, and provide sound absorption with a distinct linear pattern in solid timber slats. Many customisation options are available for finish and slat sizes, and we make access panel and lighting openings in the factory. Customisation As well as having standard ranges, we off customisation of timber species, slat size and lacquer finish. We provide the expertise in acoustics, joinery and fire performance to make this a viable option, which not only meets all functional and aesthetic requirements, but enables a reliable and efficient installation. Typical build up A typical system comprises solid timber slats to the face, then an acoustically transparent fleece or fabric, hidden battens and acoustic insulation. We also produce open to the rear, or with solid backing.

5 Modular construction We produce modular systems which allow for fast, precise installation on site. Any cutouts for lights, or otherwise unique panels are produced in the factory, and finished the same as the rest, again improving installation times and quality. Shop drawings are usually provided which included signed off details and instructions for where each panel should go.

6 Woodfit Linear Acoustic panels which are typically installed on battens in a tongue and groove fashion. Many finish options available. Overview Linear panels provide a durable sound absorbing finish for walls and ceilings. Typically installed on to battens in a tongue and groove fashion, this creates creating a seamless finish with the grooves running vertically or horizontally. For ceilings, the same approach can be taken with a suspended system or our ceiling tile version is used, for easy removal and to conceal a standard grid system. Acoustic rafts can be designed and supplied in kit form for fast installation. As well as the panels, we can also provide all trims and accessories to integrate the system perfectly. Grooves options Most panels pictured feature the most popular model, Linear 12. The number relates to the millimetre width of the slats on the face of the panel and other models include Linear 8, 9, 18, 24, 28 and 45. Please bear in mind that the wider the slats, the lower the acoustic performance, particularly in the high frequencies. 7 Typical build up A typical system comprises Linear timber slats to the face, then an acoustically transparent fleece, with hidden battens and acoustic insulation to the rear. Cavity depth and insulation used affect acoustic performance. Colour boards As well as a wide selection of veneers, lacquers and laminates for the face, you can select coloured MDF base boards to enhance the design.

8 Perforated/Slotted acoustic panels A wide range of options available for both walls and ceilings. We also provide full fixing systems and support. Perforated Available for wall and ceilings, with many perforation patterns possible. constructed from a 12 to 18mm medium density fibreboard (MDF) core, with a choice of real wood veneer, laminate or paint finishes to the face. Standard sizes are 600x600mm or 1200x600mm with custom sizes available on request. Standard sizes are 600x600mm or 1200x600mm with custom sizes available on request. Cavity depth and insulation used affect acoustic performance. For ceilings, tiles are also available to fit a standard T-grid.
