Failure to do so may result in disqualification of the bid. General 1. A summary of the Pre-bid Meeting is attached for reference. Plan Revisions A revised planset will not be distributed as part of Addendum Drawing Sheet 2: Existing Roadway Section E. Mechanic Street Station 4+60 to 5+55 incorrectly depicts 6 of concrete pavement overlaid by an asphalt pavement. The existing roadway section does not contain a concrete layer under the 2.5 existing asphalt pavement.

F. Based on the information and observations referred to in Paragraph 3.01.E above, Bidder does not consider that further examinations, investigations, explorations, tests, studies, or data are necessary for the determination of this Bid for performance of the Work at the price(s) bid and within the times required, and in accordance with the other terms and conditions of the Bidding Documents. G. Bidder is aware of the general nature of work to be performed by Owner and others at the Site that relates to the Work as indicated in the Bidding Documents. H. Bidder has given Engineer written notice of all conflicts, errors, ambiguities, or discrepancies that Bidder has discovered in the Bidding Documents, and the written resolution thereof by Engineer is acceptable to Bidder. 1. The Bidding Documents are generally sufficient to indicate and convey understanding of all terms and conditions for the performance of the Work for which this Bid is submitted. ARTICLE 4 BIDDER S CERTIFICATION 4.01 Bidder certifies that: A. This Bid is genuine and not made in the interest of or on behalf of any undisclosed individual or entity and is not submitted in conformity with any collusive agreement or rules of any group, association, organization, or corporation; B. Bidder has not directly or indirectly induced or solicited any other Bidder to submit a false or sham Bid; C. Bidder has not solicited or induced any individual or entity to refrain from bidding; and D. In order for the project to be substantially complete, the contractor shall have: 1. finished all removal and abandoning work, 2. completed and placed into service all underground utilities; 3. placed all proposed sidewalks, ramps, driveways, and concrete curbing; and 4. installed top course asphalt and permanent signage to allow public use of the streets The completion dates are subject to the following work limitations resulting from holidays and local festivals. No Work will be permitted on the following days and times; A. During holidays and festival shutdowns, the contractor shall restore all roads through aggregate base and make them passable for vehicles. Sidewalk closures may remain

Only fresh concrete driveways requiring curing will be permitted to be closed. Lane Rental Fees will apply for failure to provide open and passable roadways as defined above unless variation is granted from the Owner in writing. B. Abide by MDOT closure dates for all work within MDOT rights-of-way Bidder accepts the provisions of the Agreement as to liquidated damages. Mainline roadway will have layers of 1.5, 1.5, and 2.0 for a total of three lifts of HMA while parking areas will have two lifts of 1.5 each. See Sheet 3 of the plans for proposed cross sections. 5. Will wedge ramps need to be added at driveways while 2 finishing lift of HMA has not been laid? Wedge ramps are not required. 6. Can milled/removed existing asphalt be reused as base? Substitute materials will be reviewed during construction per Specification Section , Part Can pavement width (of parallel parking areas) be widened from 8.0 to 8.5 to accommodate pavers? Parallel parking areas which are adjacent to a Gutter Pan curb are being revised to concrete per Addendum 1. Please see Addendum 1.
