X 70 material by HDD method across Shadara-Nala (between the limits as defined in approved for construction drawings) including design, detail engineering as per specification, approved procedures & applicable approved drawings, acquisition of additional ROW. The job includes execution of the complete crossing and associated works, but not limit to following works in accordance with specifications, scope of work and instruction of Owner and as per provision of Tender document. Mobilization & demobilization as per contractor's scope of supply of all materials and consumables, HDD machine & other associated equipment, manpower and other resources including handling, loading, unloading, aligning, etc. Acquiring the required land by Contractor for storage, fabrication, site preparation and their access for execution of the works. Carry out any additional survey, if required, for collecting data relevant to design and construction of crossing, engineering & design calculation, preparation of all necessary construction drawings duly approved by owner / concerned authority/consultant. Getting permissions and work permit for Shadara-Nala crossing as well as utility crossings (if any) encountered during Creak crossing prior to start the execution work from respective concerned authority. Drilling to the required depth on the banks and bed including maintenance of drill hole in all types of strata, all depth to accommodate the pipeline at all conditions of the Creak crossings by HDD method. Installation of the proposed pipeline below the Shadara-Nala bed at position in between 3 O'clock through 6 O'clock to 9 O'clock position & minimum 5 meters apart from the center line of the existing HDD steel pipeline section by HDD method to the correct profile as per approved drawings. Carrying out cleaning, pigging and post installation hydrostatic testing of complete pipeline section laid by HDD method as approved by Owner/Consultant to specified pressures for 24 hours test pressure holding period; providing all equipment, pumps, test headers, fittings, instruments, dead weight tester, METER pressure recorder, etc., and services, supervision, labour, consumables, water including supply of corrosion inhibitor, air, etc. as required for successful completion of Hydro testing of pipeline to acceptance criteria defined in the specifications; complete dewatering and swabbing of the pipeline. To carry out the integrity of the corrosion coating of installed 3 Layer PE externally Coated pipeline by HDD method for Cathodic Protection System as per Clause No. 3.6 of Technical Specification no. GAIL/75. Backfilling of the ditch / trench including restoration, clean-up of area, disposal of drilling fluid & waste, etc. to the satisfaction of Owner / Concerned Authority and getting NOC from concerned authority. Preparation and submission of as built drawings & other drawings, etc. duly approved by Owner. a) As built drawing of existing abandoned steel pipeline crossing by HDD method enclosed herewith tender document as tender purpose drawing for reference. Tenderer are advised to visit the site for actual assessment of extent of crossing. Actual string length for HDD shall be as per design calculations so that pipe is not under stress as permitted by codes/ specifications. b) Payment for above item no. shall be made only for the length of final tied-in carrier pipeline string length laid by HDD with adjacent pipeline. However, preparation of pipeline string & their pre-testing and make the pipeline ready for installation by HDD method are exclusive of above item no. and their payment shall be made under other item no. mentioned elsewhere in SOR. 2 2 2.0 PIPELINE STRING PREPARATION & THEIR PRE-TESTING FOR CROSSING OF SHADARA-NALA-YAMUNA RIVER BANK IN NCR BY HDD METHOD "Receiving and taking-over" as defined in the specification, handling, loading, transportation and unloading of Owner supplied externally corrosion coated and bare line pipes and other Owner supplied materials from Owner's designated place(s) of issue/ dump site(s) to Contractor's own stock-yard(s)/ Work Shop(s)/ work-site(s) including stringing of line pipes on the desired alignment required for pulling of pipeline string during HDD operation, preparation of pipeline string of coated line-pipe, associated fittings and accessories, etc. of following sizes given below, including executing all works; arrangement of all additional land required for Contractor's storage, fabrication, access for construction; supply of all materials (except Owner supplied materials), consumables, labour and other incidental works; return of the surplus pipes to the Owner's designated stockyard(s); carrying out all temporary, ancillary, auxiliary works required to make the pipeline ready for insertion by HDD method as per drawings, specifications, scope of work indicated in SCC and other provisions of Contract document and instructions of Owner, including but not limited to carrying out the following works:- Carrying out repairs of pipe defects/ replacement in case of irreparable defects and repairs of defects of pipe coating not attributable to Owner including defects/ damages occurring during transportation/ handling after taking over from Owner by Contractor including management of their own dump site, if required. Stringing of line pipes along the desired & approved alignment required for pulling of pipeline string during HDD operation including providing straw/ sand/ soft soil bags, soft padding/ sand padding. Aligning, bending, cutting and beveling (as required) of pipes for welding and field adjustments, welding, carrying out destructive/ non-destructive testing of welds as required as per specification including 100% radiography and providing all requisite equipment, labour, supervision, materials, films, consumables all facilities and personnel to process, develop, examine and interpret radiographs and other tests, as required, carrying out repairs of weld joints found defective by Owner, carrying out radiography and other tests METER such as ultrasonic etc. as required on repaired joints etc. as mentioned in SCC & particular job specification. Supply of special type "Dirax" or equivalent heat shrink sleeves coating materials for all field joints including special type coating repair patch material PERP - 80 or equivalent as per specifications compatible with 3-Layer PE Coating as per tender specifications with prior approval of Owner. Coating of all field weld joints. Carrying out cleaning, water filling, Pre-Hydro testing of complete pipeline in various test sections as approved by Owner to specified pressures for 24 hours test pressure holding period; providing all equipment, pumps, test headers, fittings, pressure & temperature instruments etc., and services, supervision, labour, consumables, water, air, etc. as required; detection of leaks, if any occurred during Pre-Hydro testing, attributable to Contractor and rectification of defects, re-testing after rectification with due approval of Owner, successful completion of Pre-Hydro testing of pipeline to acceptance criteria defined in the specifications; complete dewatering & drying of the pipeline. (Leak detection, its rectification and successfully Re-Hydro testing shall be carried out by Contractor with a view that completion of all activity for successful Pre-Hydro testing is not inordinately extended, which will hamper the overall project schedule. Further, no extra payment claim shall be entertained for Re-Hydro testing, leak detection and their rectifications if defects found attributable to Contractor. Final clean-up and restoration of additional land / right of use / corridor including obtaining NOC from respective land owners & statutory authorities if required, and disposal of debris and returning surplus material to Owner's designated disposal area(s)/ stockyard(s) as directed by Owner. Preparation of as-built drawings, pipe-book and other records as specified in the specifications. All type of welded joints after fabrication of pipeline string shall be radiographically tested by X-ray ASSOCIATED PIPELINE LAYING/ INSTALLATION, TESTING & HOOK-UP WORKS : "Receiving and taking-over" as defined in the specification, handling, loading, transportation and unloading of Owner supplied externally corrosion coated and bare line pipes and other Owner supplied materials from Owner's designated place(s) of issue/ dump site(s) to Contractor's own stock-yard(s)/ Work Shop(s)/ work-site(s) including stringing on the pipeline Right-of-Use, underground laying / installation of coated line pipe, associated fittings and accessories, etc. of following sizes given below, including executing all works; arrangement of all additional land including ROU (i.e. at SV-68 side bank & SV-67 side bank of Shadara-Nala-Yamuna River Bank) required for Contractor's storage, fabrication, access for construction, underground laying / installation of coated pipeline string; Supply of all materials (except Owner supplied materials), consumables, labour and other incidental works; return of the surplus free issue materials to the Owner's designated stockyard(s); carrying out all temporary, ancillary, auxiliary works, hook-up works at both end with adjacent pipeline required to make the entire pipeline including pipeline section laid by HDD across Shadara-Nala ready for pre-commissioning as per drawings, specifications, scope of work indicated in SCC and other provisions of Contract document and instructions of Owner, including but not limited to carrying out the following works: In-situ pre-construction survey of both side bank of the Shadara-Nala including identification of the existing buried pipeline and establishment of their alignment. Re-acquisition of existing ROU and also acquisition of proposed ROU, if required. Stacking and installation of construction markers, clearing, fencing, grubbing, grading of right of use (ROU). Trenching to all depths by excavation in all types of soils including soft/ hard rock, including blasting, chiseling or otherwise cutting etc. providing required depth of padding in trench bed & above and around the pipeline approved by Owner to a width to accommodate the pipeline during lowering & backfilling as per the relevant standards, specifications etc. Carrying out repairs of pipe defects/ replacement in case of irreparable defects and repairs of defects of pipe coating not attributable to Owner including defects/ damages occurring during transportation/ handling after taking over from Owner by Contractor including management of their own dump site, if required. Stringing of line pipes along ROU including providing straw/ sand/ soft soil bags, soft padding/ sand padding.

3 3 Aligning, bending, cutting and beveling (as required) of pipes for welding and field adjustments, welding, carrying out destructive/ non-destructive testing of welds as required as per specification including 100% radiography and providing all requisite equipment, labour, supervision, materials, films, consumables all facilities and personnel to process, develop, examine and interpret radiographs and other tests, as required, carrying out repairs of weld joints found defective by Owner, carrying out re-radiography and other tests such as ultrasonic etc. as required on repaired joints etc. as mentioned in SCC & particular job specification. Installation of carrier line pipe at all minor crossings viz road, cartrack, pathway, drain, nallah, canal & minor water crossings etc. at designated depth by open cut/ jacking boring. Supply and installation of saddle weight/ any other suitable means as per specification and drawings or as per instruction of Owner to counter the buoyancy effect on pipeline, wherever required. Supply of coating materials for all field joints, Long Radius Bends, Buried Fittings, Valves, Fasteners, etc. including heat shrinkable sleeves and high build liquid epoxy etc. as per specifications compatible with 3-Layer PE Coating as per tender specifications with prior approval of Owner. Coating of all field weld joints, long radius bends, (R=6D bends), buried fittings, valves etc. Lowering the pipelines in trench as per specification & standard drawings, providing padding around the pipeline and backfilling. Supply and installation of slope breaker as per specification and drawings in steep slope areas, wherever required. Supply of long radius bends (R=6D) of desired angles (wherever required) based on pre-construction survey of the pipeline route carried out by the contractor for 12 NB pipeline & 7.1 mm wall thick as per T.S. No. Data Sheet No. GAIL/JLPL/SNX/15 enclosed in tender document. Installation of Long Radius Bends (R=6D bends) as per specification wherever required depending on site condition. Training and diversions of streams in steep slope areas, wherever required. Carrying out cleaning, water filling, Pre-Hydrotesting of complete pipeline in various test sections as approved by Owner to specified pressures for 24 hours test pressure holding period; providing all equipment, pumps, test headers, fittings, pressure & temperature instruments etc., and services, supervision, labour, consumables, water, air, etc. as required; detection of leaks, if any occurred during Pre-Hydrotesting, attributable to Contractor and rectification of defects, re-testing after rectification with due approval of Owner, successful completion of Pre-Hydrotesting of pipeline to acceptance criteria defined in the specifications; complete dewatering & drying of the pipeline. METER Leak detection, its rectification and successfully re-hydro testing shall be carried out by Contractor with a view that completion of all activity for successful pre-hydrotesting is not inordinately extended, which will hamper the overall project schedule. Further, no extra payment claim shall be entertained for re-hydrotesting, leak detection and their rectifications if defects found attributable to Contractor. All tieing-in, including the tie-in(s) of the associated pipeline with the adjacent sections of pipeline (i.e. proposed pipeline section laid by HDD method & existing buried pipeline section) including cutting & re-beveling of test headers, cutting & re-beveling of existing pipeline wherever required for making provision for hook-up with proposed laid pipeline as required, radiography and other NDT examination, joint coating as per specification. Final clean-up and restoration of existing and proposed right of use/ corridor including obtaining NOC from respective land owners & statutory authorities if required, and disposal of debris and returning surplus material to Owner's designated disposal area(s)/ stockyard(s) as directed by Owner. Obtaining work permits/ NOC from various statutory authorities having jurisdiction before execution of the work and complying with all stipulations/ conditions/ recommendations of the said authorities. Preparation of as-built drawings, pipe-book and other records as specified in the specifications. Line pipe laying and installation with radiography by X-ray. Note: a) Above item no. is applicable for complete work of laying & testing of the pipeline between laid HDD pipeline section's end and existing buried pipeline at both banks (i.e. Madanpur-Khadar side bank & Loni side) of Shadara-Nala-Yamuna River Bank. Items except above are covered separately. The length of pipeline is tentative. b) During Hook-up job LPG supply shall be maintained by fabricating bypass line of 12 size (including all materials) as per hook-up scheme (Sketch enclosed for reference), as required for the work shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates. SELECT SOIL FOR BACKFILLING Extra over and above item 1.0 if required for supply of specified and approved quality of backfill material as per specification including supply of graded sand/ rock/ other types of soil in place of available excavated material and/ or other suitable soil, including transportation of such special backfill material over all distances, complete. Supply of Split Tee Design, and supply of flanged Split-tee for hot-tapping and stoppling as per data-sheet and specification, submission & approval of design calculations & drawings, Manufacture, Inspection, testing supply & transportation of split tee as per TS No. S at site with all its accessories Size : 12" x 12" x 12" & 600# rating. 4 6 7 Hot Tapping & Stoppling Works Carrying out Hot Tapping and Stoppling through approved agency including arranging hot-tapping and stoppling machine and all required tools & tackles not limited to the following: Excavation, removal of coating on 12" existing pipeline, welding of split tee on 12 pipeline, NDT of welded joints, testing prior to hot tapping. Installation of temporary sandwich/ full bore valve, mobilizing hot tapping machine & stoppling machine with all its accessories, cutting tool, stoppler sandwich valve/ full bore valve, LOR plug, etc. for hot tapping & stoppling works, obtaining all permissions/ clearances/ permits from Owner/ concerned authorities, submitting all procedures for approval & obtaining approval thereon prior to start of works, carrying out hot tapping & stoppling works including installation of split tee & temporary sandwich valve/ full bore ball valve with support on existing 12" pipeline including: Carrying out all works as per the requirements of specification, other provisions of contract documents and instructions of Engineer-in-charge. Making pipe support and valve pit along with access ladder at tap-off point as per approved pit drawing arranging all the materials required for the same. Coating split tee with heat shrink sleeve compatible with existing mainline coating, coating of all buried valve, flanges, fittings nut & bolts suitably with heat-shrink sleeve/cold tape/coal tar epoxy coating of min.2 coats of 300 micron. Retrieval of stoppling machine AND INSTALLATION OF LOR PLUG. Supply & installation of Blind Flange of 12 with studs & Bolts and pig guide bar as per standard procedure. Carrying out all works as per the requirements of specification, other provisions of contract document and instructions of Engineer-in-charge. Final restoration of area to its original to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. Supply of all materials (excluding only two number full bore ball valve which is being supplied as Free issue), consumables for welding & testing requirements, tools, tackles, skilled and unskilled manpower, taking necessary fire safety measures, carrying out NDT test followed by hydro-testing of the installed fitting. Notes: a) The cost of providing temporary sandwich valve / full bore valve, mobilizing Hot tapping & Stoppling machine, MS bolts, gaskets, washers, electrodes, putty, gases, cost of straightening the raw materials, cutting of flats from plates and providing splices, paints, tools, plants etc., as required for the work shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates. b) All handling and transport charges of raw materials and fabricated structures including double handling, as required, for completion of work in accordance with time schedule are deemed be included in the quoted rates. Mobile Flare Dismantling and shifting of existing mobile flare from GAIL Nasirabad/ Mansarampura to HDD site location. Carrying out Hot tapping for connecting the mobile flare in existing 12 pipe including supply of split tee (12 x2 ) and providing temporary 2 sandwich valve/ full bore valve. Operation of mobile flare for burning of LPG in existing pipeline after completion of LPG burning mobile flare shall be shifted back to Nasirabad/Mansarampura and to be installed at original location. Contractor shall supply of all consumables, manpower, machineries, materials, etc. and carry out all works as per the provisions of Contract document and instructions of Engineer-in-charge. Notes: a) The cost of providing temporary sandwich valve / full bore valve, mobilizing Hot tapping & Stoppling machine, MS bolts, gaskets, washers, electrodes, putty, gases, cost of straightening the raw materials, cutting of flats from plates and providing splices, paints, tools, plants etc., as required for the work shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates. b) All handling and transport charges of raw materials and fabricated structures including double handling, as required, for completion of work in accordance with time schedule are deemed be included in the quoted rates. NOS NOS REPAIR OF DEFECTS IN LINE PIPE AND PIPE COATING (ATTRIBUTABLE TO OWNER) Repair of Owner supplied line pipe and external corrosion coating of all thicknesses noted at the time of taking delivery by Contractor, including performing all works as per specifications and directions of Owner. Repair of coating defects in 3-Layer PE Coating/ FBE Coating of Line Pipe Repair of Holiday in Coating : Supply of all coating repair materials as per specification to be compatible with line pipe coating material and as per the requirements of the relevant specifications, supply of all consumables, utilities, equipment, and all manpower required, pipe cleaning and surface preparation repairing of coating defects (resulting in holiday in coating) and testing including all handling, transportation, etc. for line pipes, performing all works necessary for the completion of the works strictly in accordance with the relevant specification and instructions of Owner. This rate shall be applicable per sq.cm of the exposed steel area. CM Repair of Defects in Pipes of all sizes and thickness 9.1 Cutting and re-beveling of each end of pipe(dents / damage in bevels exceeding 3mm in depth) NOS Jack out (dents in bevels ranging between 1mm and 3mm in depth) NOS LEAKS/ BURSTS (Attributable to Owner) Major Leak/ Bursts which can be located by visual observation occurred during pre-hydrotesting. All works for locating & detection of leak/ burst including necessary repairing/ replacing defective pipe lengths, including cutting out and removing the defective pipe, pretesting the replacement pipe, welding into pipeline string subjected for re-testing and NDT of welds, coating of welded joints, clean-up, retesting the full test section of pipeline including providing all labour, materials, consumables and inputs other than Owner supplied materials and performing all works as per drawings, specifications enclosed with the tender/ contract document and directions of Owner. For pipeline size 300 mm NB Note a) This rate is applicable for manufacturing defects in Owner supplied material only. Leak detection, its rectification and successfully. b) Re-Hydrotesting shall be carried out as per approved procedure by Contractor with a view that completion of all activity for successful Hydrotesting is not inordinately extended which will hamper the overall project schedule EACH PRE-COMMISSIONING & ASSISTANCE IN COMMISSIONING Carrying out pre-commissioning works for 12" dia. entire pipeline section of length approx. 600 Meter between SV Station-68 to SV Station-67 including pre-commissioning checks and preparation of its check lists, detail schedule, proposed system diagram along with procedure duly approved by owner, making the entire pipeline system ready for commissioning, providing assistance during the complete commissioning operation including supply of all equipment, Pigs, man-power, consumables (including nitrogen required for purging of minimum 10% of pipeline volume to be purged ahead of LPG column) materials for all temporary works and performing all associated works as per the relevant specifications, commissioning sketch, other provisions of Contract document and instructions of Owner. All supplying, handling and transport charges of raw materials and fabricated structures including double handling, as required, for completion of work in accordance with time schedule are deemed be included in the quoted rates. 5 RETRIEVAL & TAKE AWAY OF EXISTING UNDERGROUND 12" DIA. PIPELINE Amount of rebate to the client for retrieval and take away of existing underground 12" dia. of all thickness redundant pipelines as and where is basis from Shadara-Nala-Yamuna METER River Bank field towards SV Station - 68 and SV Station 67. LAYING OF DUCT/OFC Supply & installation of MS pipe of 06" dia. & 4.85mm Thickness By HDD method for laying of HDPE duct/ OFC METER All activities pertaining to laying of HDPE duct inside the 6" MS pipe laid for this purpose as specified in the tender document including carrying out route survey, obtaining ROU/ROW permissions, transportation of OFC & DUCT from stores, storage of duct & OFC, laying of duct by HDD method, DIT, blowing, splicing, termination, testing of METER OFC, NOTE: HDPE Duct & OFC shall be provided by GAIL as free issue item to the contractor from GAIL's store.
