Just in time for the ISH 2017, REHAU has optimised the system with new components. With RAUTITAN, REHAU has a versatile universal system in its product range that is made from corrosion-resistant, long-lasting PE-Xa pipes, and is used worldwide for drinking water and heating installations. When used in drinking water installations, RAUTITAN is distinguished by perfect hygiene, long-term reliability and simple installation. The plumbing contractor always has the right solution at hand when connecting radiators regardless of whether the radiator connections are on the floor, the wall or the skirting board. The pipe system and jointing technology have been in use for over 30 years in more than 50 countries and more than 700 million compression sleeve joints have been manufactured to date. Preinsulated pipes for dimensions of 16 to 25 millimetres are very economical thanks to shorter installation times. The permanently sealed connection between the pipe, fitting and compression sleeve, in which the pipe itself acts as a sealant, ensures reliable safety without any compromises. The installation can thereby be immediately placed under pressure. Because robust materials such as high-performance PE-Xa, PPSU and PVDF are used, processing temperatures as low as -10 degrees Celsius are possible. Hygiene-optimised drinking water technology Water is our most important resource, and its quality must not be impaired in any way. Ensuring water quality down to the last tapping point therefore requires the greatest care from planning and hygienic installation all the way to operation in accordance with sanitary standards. RAUTITAN scores points here thanks to its long service life and high hygienic standards, which will also meet any future requirements without any problem. Above all, the drinking water system is optimally tailored to the requirements of pass-through and ring pipelines: If individual tapping points or even complete utilisation units are out of use for temporary or longer term periods, the water still keeps flowing, thereby protecting against microbial contamination

3 - 3 - such as Legionella bacteria. In addition, the smooth surfaces prevent deposits in the pipe. The inner contours of the fittings are hydraulically optimised, and exhibit very low pressure loss, while all materials used are subject to stringent inspections, and are certified for use with drinking water. The REHAU compression sleeve jointing system's lack of contamination is proven by the test results of the Fraunhofer Institute for Environmental, Safety and Energy Technology, UMSICHT: According to the bacteriological investigations, the tested REHAU compression sleeve joints are free of dead spots. Radiator connection variants The wide product range of pipes, fittings and accessories means that all the relevant installation variants can be implemented, regardless of whether the radiator connections come from the floor, the wall or the skirting board. Heating pipe manifolds for the distribution and collection of connecting pipes and a wide range of accessories complete the product range. In the case of radiator connections from the floor, the high-quality stainless steel fittings perform impressively along the whole line. Connections from the wall ensure simple, obstacle-free cleaning, as they completely disappear into the vertical building elements. The two renovation solutions RAUSOLO and RAUDUO, with their optimally coordinated range of trunking covers and moulded parts, are ideal for connections from the skirting board. Their easy and clean installation is also possible in inhabited rooms.

4 - 4 - NEW: RAUTITAN RX 20 mm MeplaFix fittings The new RAUTITAN RX MeplaFix fittings in the 20 mm dimension are safe and precise system components that permit a simple, fast and tool-free connection to the MeplaFix components manufactured by Geberit. The threads of the connections to the MeplaFix compatible system elements from Geberit do not need to be lined with hemp, which significantly reduces the working time per connection. A total of six fittings are available, in the dimensions of 16 and 20 millimetres. NEW: RAUTITAN range of brackets with insulating washers In addition, REHAU has optimised the RAUTITAN bracket range: The new brackets are fitted with insulating washers and screws in the factory, and their corners are rounded off. Sound transmission between wall-mounted elbows and mounting brackets can be reduced with the insulating washers made from EPDM rubber which are supplied complete with two M5 screws for mounting the wallmounted elbow. The insulating washers are also available separately as replacement parts for mounting brackets or for use with the 2-metre-long mounting bracket. NEW: RAUTITAN cross fittings As a further innovation, REHAU will be introducing improved RAUTITAN cross fittings for heating installations at the trade fair. They allow connection of the supply and return pipes of additional radiators without chiselling work at the intersection area of the distribution and connecting pipes. The cross fittings are delivered with matching insulation boxes with a thermal conductivity of W/(m x K). NEW: 16 Rp 1/2 70 RAUTITAN RX wall-mounted elbow for front-wall installation If the RAUTITAN system is to be mounted on front-wall assembly elements with a fixation separation of 40 millimetres, or on the bracket range from REHAU, plumbing contractors can now make use of a new wall-mounted elbow for front-wall installation, the 16 Rp 1/2 70 RAUTITAN RX. This has been specially fitted with threaded connectors for wall-flush cutting or greater installation depths. NEW: RAUTITAN pipes in 25 mm protective sleeve As protection against the formation of condensation according to DIN 1988, part 200, and as mechanical protection of the drinking water and heating pipes, REHAU has expanded the range with

5 - 5 - the RAUTITAN stabil and RAUTITAN flex universal tubes in protective sleeves in the 25 mm dimension. NEW: Insulation box for square wall-mounted elbows with wall-mounted T-piece The new insulation box consists of a lower, upper and locking part, and is used for the insulation of the RAUTITAN 16/20 Rp 1/2 wall-mounted elbow with square backplate and the 16/20 Rp 1/2 16/20 wall-mounted T-piece. This complies with the 50 percent-criterion according to EnEV 2014 / DIN with regard to thermal insulation, and ensures increased sound insulation at the same time. NEW: RAUTITAN RX wall-mounted elbow As a result of the introduction of the new RAUTITAN brackets with insulating washers and screws, the prefabricated screws for the following wall-mounted elbows will no longer be available from the third quarter of 2017: RAUTITAN RX wall-mounted elbow, short, with internal thread, RAUTITAN RX wallmounted elbow, long, with internal thread and RAUTITAN RX wall-mounted elbow with external thread. NEW: RAUTITAN RX assembly units The RAUTITAN RX assembly units with pre-assembled wall-mounted elbows and some insulation boxes will also be adapted to the new RAUTITAN bracket range from the third quarter of With the pre-assembled units, shorter assembly times can be achieved compared to the installation of individual components.
