18 Middle Tennessee State University Laboratory & Field Validation Testing May 2012 Scope The primary goal of this study was to examine the reliability, and the cost savings; both time And labor, by the use of the T-Port Technology. Field Validation Testing During this portion of the test, numerous cracks were repaired; including Horizontal, Vertical and Overhead types. Side by side testing with the current technology was also conducted. Laboratory Testing Special attention was given to the effectiveness of air relief and epoxy penetration to the repair by the TPS Technology.

28 Resin Types- Epoxy and Urethanes KPG recommends any Epoxy injection resin that has the following mixed properties. Epoxy Hand Mix- Cartridges Low Viscosity Less than 800 cps, any ratio 1 to 1, 2 to 1. Preferred gel time of 30 mins Typical Data (Material and curing 73 F (23 C) and 50% R.H.)

29 Less than 300 cps, any ratio 1 to 1, 2 to 1. Preferred gel time of 30 mins Pump/Machine Mix Typical Data (Material and curing 73 F (23 C) and 50% R.H.) Note: SLV injection resins react quickly and will cause a exothermic curing issue in the storage pod. Polyurethanes All one part or two part water activated urethanes are approved. Avoid active leaking cracks. KPG recommends a dry concrete substrate to assure proper bonding seal and anchoring bond. RESULTS MAY DIFFER BASED UPON STATISTICAL VARIATIONS DEPENDING UPON MIXING METHODS AND EQUIPMENT, TEMPERATURE, APPLICATION METHODS, TEST METHODS, ACTUAL SITE CONDITIONS AND CURING CONDITIONS.
